It was for replacing a relatively new, very rusty oil pan. I was very disappointed that a 5.8-year-old, 5.7 HEMI RAM at 58,000 miles required replacement, and no recourse was available due to rust. Afterward, I'm not sure yet whether it's leaking oil because the area where the work was performed had oil coating all surfaces. The rusty pan was not leaking oil at all. How can an integral and critical component of an engine not be covered as part of an extended or good faith warranty, just because it has rusted prematurely? A body part, okay, but an engine? More
