While Ted Rea was working in sales for a large telecommunications company, he started buying and selling cars as a hobby. After 5 years of nurturing his hobby into a business, he chose a spot in his hometown of Leavenworth to open a retail showroom. The showroom opened in 1994 with 15 vehicles and was a quick success. Ted soon turned his small venture into a larger organization with his brother, John, who opened a store in Hutchinson Kansas in 1995.
Ted and John believe their business is successful because the Luxury & Imports staff is unmatched. People recognize the value of buying a pre-owned vehicle over a new one. Customers are always looking for the right vehicle from a certain year at the right price. And the staff and Luxury & Imports is an understanding group who really listens to what customers need. The car a customer comes to see may not be the only one that meets their need. Consultative selling, as opposed to a quick sale, is how Luxury & Imports establishes lifetime customers. Ted has customers now who will drive past 20 to thirty dealerships to get to his lot. Ted and his staff are there for customers through the whole buying process, and beyond. This value makes Luxury & Imports different from many other dealerships. As our motto goes: "Our success is based on helping our customers find the right car at the right price."

I bought a car from your business and have had more problems than I rather have. We felt things were with before our purchase and asked questions. We were told everything was fine. We bought the car about 3 years ago and it's the had nothing but problems. We didn't expect a brand new car but we expected to at least a vehicle that didn't need breaks or other issues that we've had. More

Dealer was unprepared with vehicle at the 10:00 appointment, truck was dirty and bed full of dirt. The sales people were all nice and efficient. The truck fortunately was an exceptional condition so the purchase proceeded. I had made numerous connections about being there at 10:00, so someone dropped the ball. Otherwise typical used car dealer, seemed to have a nice choice of cars would be my main reason for recommending. Another disappointing thing, the truck was completely empty of fuel. Seems like there would be room for a $50.00 fill up when paying full price from a non-negotiating dealer. The truck was wash before delivery, but not detailed in or out, not very well at least, dirt still on floor and dust. I would come back again, however, I think ,if you ask for feedback, honestly can only can help, and if they do get read, someone might actually act upon some of the non-trivial, but influencing things, thanks, by the way, I have personally owned 82 different vehicles, not an unexperienced buyer, you fortunately had the truck I had been looking for. More
