Tire Repair Went in to Westside for a tire repair, all the tire shops were busy. I expected to pay a high price but needed the work done. I was welcomed just like I as getting a regular service (oil change, whatever). I got to wait in a nice room with snacks and coffee. The service was perfomed in a timely manner. Got the bill and it was only $27, great price. They even washed my car. GREAT SERVICE, GREAT DEAL! More

I had a good service experience I dropped off my car on a Sunday because I had a appointment at 6:45 am the next morning. The technician called me the next day and described in detail what they discovered was wrong with my car. It was repaired and was covered by my warranty, which resulted in no cost to me. The technician was informative and respectful. The service center staff at the desk and the young man who brought my car around to me were courteous and professional. It was a overall excellent experience as usual. More

Routine Check up Oil change and routine check up. Upon pick up of my car, I didn’t even speak to anyone regarding the check up I requested. As a new customer, you woul Oil change and routine check up. Upon pick up of my car, I didn’t even speak to anyone regarding the check up I requested. As a new customer, you would think the techs would go out of their way to satisfy me to retain business, but apparently not. When we bring my wife’s car to Lincoln dealer, the service is outstanding. They go out of their way to make us aware of any issues with her car and would never have the keys waiting at the front desk for us at pick up. They wash her car and pull it up front upon departure, especially if it’s RAINING. Please keep up with your peers. More

Tire rotation and irritation I want to love Westside VW but the service dept lacks social skills. Not recommended for female patrons. At every turn I was made to feel as if I ha I want to love Westside VW but the service dept lacks social skills. Not recommended for female patrons. At every turn I was made to feel as if I had no clue what I was talking about. This was not a solutions oriented experience - it was a barrage of items that I either hadn't done correctly or didn't know what I was saying (according to service). I brought my car in to have the tires removed and rotated - I had purchased the car used in Iowa two years ago. Apparently the tires originally had locking lug nuts. Service told me that was not possible. I suggested that indeed was the case and all the more reason for a rotation as well. I was told - again - that it simply wasnt possible this car had never had a rotation. Given I have all the service records on this car, I think I know what I'm talking about. I was then subjected to being told my car didn't have the proper tools in the trunk to remove the tires. REALLY?!?! Hello, that's why I'm here talking with you!!! Again, I patiently indicated I'd bought the car used. I was then told that if I'd bought it from westside it would have all the proper tools included. But, I didnt buy from Westside and I still need service attention, right? At this stage I gave up asking about a few other minor questions on the car recognizing where we were headed. As I left, I told my husband that my prediction was I'd get a call about selling me new tires. About an hour later exactly that happened..... When I declined to purchase a new set of tires (which I fully anticipated would be the outcome) they abruptly finished my service. Not certain they actually rotated the tires - but I can definitely state that my tires are running hard and loud now. I have owned seven VW's in my lifetime and can state emphatically that the service dept at Westside is terrifically horrid to work with. If you can manage to drive to Burnsville VW instead - I strongly recommend it. More
