Repair to gas cap lock on 2012 Tiguan My gas cap would not unlock and I was unable to refuel my vehicle - fortunately I had just enough gas to get to Westside to repair it. However, my exp My gas cap would not unlock and I was unable to refuel my vehicle - fortunately I had just enough gas to get to Westside to repair it. However, my experience with making an appointment on the phone was horrible. The phone rep, I believe Christina, told me the service center was busy and would not schedule an appointment for that day (I called at around noon on my lunch break to bring the vehicle in mid-afternoon). I explained that this had to be repaired that day as I would soon be without gas - told Christina that I was calling "as a courtesy" to alert Westside that I would be bringing in the vehicle. Nonetheless, when I arrived at Westside, there was no record of the call. The excellent staff there repaired my vehicle while I waited and even provided some gas so I could get to a station to refuel. The staff at Westside have always been great - but you've got idiots working at your call center. More
