Maura worked with us after our test drive and was able to present the price for the vehicle right away. Maura also viewed the vehicle I currently owned and was able to give us a value the same day. I felt Maura was very profession and cared about what our needs were. Maura answered all of our questions on the Jetta and I was very pleased with her service. I ended up purchasing the Jetta a few days after our first visit and I do have to say that I bought my Jetta from Maura Broucek at your dealership because of how she treated us. More

Bobby was very friendly and helpful from the start. We knew what we wanted before we ever showed up and we intended to do business that day so Bobby got papers ready while we got our trade-ins ready. The pricing was very fair and the values they gave for our trade-ins were close to what we were expecting. Both Bobby, his manager, and the finance guy stayed until past close to work with us and Bobby even got the plates off of one of our cars to keep as a souvenir. I would definitely recommend this dealership for their professionalism and fairness. More
I just drove off with a brand-new 2011 Jetta (the first one sold from this dealer!).... This was one of those magical car-buying experiences where absolutely everything fell into place all at once, from trade-in value to my interest rate and monthly payment to the EXACT trim level, color, etc I was looking for. I worked with James Baldwin Jr and he was the perfect sales person I wanted - no pressure, respected my time, helped me get everything I needed. I am surprised and spooked by the service comments on here - this is a really convenient dealer for me so I would hate to truck it across the metro to to another place! So far every person I have interfaced with has been great though. We'll see how it goes but so far I couldn't be happier. More
Really like the car I found to replace my old car at Westside. I found this car on the internet and it took me about a week to get the deal made. They also would not commit to what I wanted for my car and I was upset by that. I did make the 100 mile drive on a week night and found it very frustrating experience. I was made to wait at least 30 minutes at a desk with no one coming back to see or talk to me. They also gave me $1,000 less money for my trade then what they promised on the phone and $1,500 less then what I wanted on the phone. They accused me of the car being repainted and bent steering wheel that probably happened at the same time. NO! I have a teenage son who drove the car most of the time and I am sure the bent steering wheel came from the constant pounding on it when he listen to his loud music on the radio! Due to this I had to take $1,000 less and I am sure they will touch up the car and replace the steering for way less hen $1,000 and sell the car at a profit yet. I arrived at the lot at 7:30 and did not leave until after work hours due to waiting around and them telling me about damage that was not true. I ended up buying the car due to all of the time and effort and distance I put into finding the car. The car looks great and I am hoping it will be fine. It is a 2010 Kia Sportage with 11K on it. At least it is under warranty for 60K and I have a very nice dealership in my home town in Wisconsin where I have been servicing my cars the past 7 years, so I won't have to deal with Westside for service as the ratings I have read on line sound very poor and scarey! I hate buying a car and I hate dealers. I guess I am used to it now after all of these years and cars I have bought. I feel the price was good on the new car I bought, but really feel ripped off on the trade in price that they will also make some more money off of me still! My car was a auction car and they already dropped it $2,700 from their first price back in July. So I probaly really did them a favor with both my trade car and my new car. I won't go back again to Westside. More
The sales staff were very friendly. We enjoyed working with Carole as she was very informative, went through all the details we needed to know about our new Jetta. At no time was Carole pushy, demanding, or rude which we appreciated very much. She is an excellent representative of Luther Westside Volkswagen. She also called us the day after we bought our car to make sure we were enjoying our purchase. We will recommend Luther Westside (and especially Carole)to our friends. More
I just purchased my 3rd Volkswagen. My first two were purchased at Burnsville (Steve H. - I actually worked with you on my first one when I was 22 as a referral from Carolyn Svendsen). Since moving north, I have been using Westside for the service on my Passat. I have not had good experiences. Also, we looked at replacing the vehicle 2 times over the course of the past 4 years and we were extremely frustrated with our experiences. The right car for us was on the lot at Westside (I purchased a 2009 w/7K), otherwise we would have taken our business to Burnsville even though we live in Plymouth. That being said - we had a good experiece working with Steve Broucek. He was knowledgable about the vehciles I drove (one was a Honda) and understood where I was with my shopping process during my first visit. He put me at ease by not pushing a sale as I was still doing my research. He answered all the questions I had over email (warranty, etc. and that was my preferred communication versus trying be pushy by calling). When we decided to move forward, he did was respectable during the negotiations process. I hope we have a better experience with this car than we did with the last (from service and reliability) so I can continue to be a life-long long VW driver! More
