First service/maintenance appointment for my new Honda Pilot yesterday (8/12/13) - I walked in the door and was greeted by Casey before I even got to the service counter. Casey took me back out to my vehicle for a quick walk-around and asked how it was driving and whether I had experienced any problems. We discussed what routine maintenance services were appropriate - no snake oil salesman here, I was sold only what I needed - and I was off to the waiting room. Less than an hour passed and Casey appeared with not only the bill but the service technician's inspection report, both of which he reviewed with me. After paying the bill, he walked me out to my vehicle, answered a few final questions and I was off. Thorough, efficient and freindly. Nice to drive away confidently - I drove 45 miles for a simple service and afterwards I have to say I'd drive 100 miles for such great service. More

We needed a car quickly. Adam told us to come on in, even though they closed at 5:30. We got there at 5:15. We knew we wanted a Honda Odyssey Touring. He had the cars ready for us when we got there. We immed though they closed at 5:30. We got there at 5:15. We knew we wanted a Honda Odyssey Touring. He had the cars ready for us when we got there. We immediately were drawn to one of them. Adam and Dan (and the other support staff) stayed on site until 7:30. We drove away in our new (used) Odyssey (and it looks BRAND NEW!!). My entire experience at Luther Honda in St. Cloud, MN was great. Something I noticed right off the bat was that the salesmen did not behave as the stereotypical "pushy salesman". They let me look around and expressed concerned about what I was looking for. Adam Schlichting was the person that helped me the most. He knew so much about the car, I was truly impressed. He showed me the car from the engine, to the drivers seat. While we test drove he continuously discussed features of the car. I knew going into the dealership, that Honda made a trustworthy automobile, but Adam's knowledge and confidence in the Honda product and company was what ultimately sold me. Adam searched high and low to get me the right car with everything I wanted. Adam sat in the car and showed me all the features and helped me set up some of my personal settings. He was only concerned about getting me what I wanted and needed not selling me on things I didn't want or need. I then spoke with Steve Walsh about GAP insurance and Crystal Fusion for my windshield. He too, behaved like a genuinely sincere person that made sure I was getting what I wanted and understood the paper work. This is the first time I've purchased a car and both Steve and Adam were patient explaining things to me. I spoke with Stacey on the phone about setting up a time to get the autostart put in my vehicle. She was SOOOO friendly and was really accommodating to my changing schedule. She's a very great person to have working the phone. The customer service, friendliness, quality of work, and overall experience were all great!! The price of the car was expensive, but compared to other vehicles it was the best deal out there, which was great! The people that work at Luther Honda St. Cloud all seem to be incredibly nice and genuine - sometimes those qualities are hard to find in employees at car dealerships. More

When we first arrived at Luther Honda to check out a CR-V, there was nowhere to park, but after waiting for a space to clear, we walked around for a short time and were greeted promptly and invited to g CR-V, there was nowhere to park, but after waiting for a space to clear, we walked around for a short time and were greeted promptly and invited to go for a test drive. After the test drive, we sat down to talk about the price of the vehicle and were told that Luther doesn't mess around with bartering back and forth, they just give a fair value price. Not the case, because we ended up spending an hour of negotiating the price of the CR-V and the trade-in value of my car. The trade-in manager test drove my car and said there were caution lights that came on and he could smell anti-freeze when he opened the hood. When we questioned him (because neither were occurring when I drove it there), he mentioned that it could be an intermittent thing and that those issues were common in my make/model. Not feeling like we were getting a reasonable deal, we left and said we would think about our options. Not five minutes after we left, the trade-in manager called and said he didn't want to lose our business over a "lousy few hundred bucks," which was ridiculous because that was all we were asking for five mins. earlier. The following weekend we called to let Luther know we were interested in purchasing the vehicle with the additional trade-in value.The $500 deposit was made on a Saturday before the manager had actually located the vehicle to be shipped in from a surrounding state, and it was promised within 3-5 business days, but they wanted to take care of the paperwork and financing before the vehicle was delivered to close the sale in the current month. We refused to drive there twice, and said we would take care of it when the CR-V was ready to be picked up. Throughout the following week we called several times to check the status of the delivery (lots of "I'll call you right back's" and return calls hours later with no definite information) and didn't find out until Saturday morning (the last business day of June) that the vehicle was on site. We were told that all they had to do was prep it for us, so the sooner we made an appointment to pick it up that day, the better. It took THREE HOURS for the financing and vehicle prep, then the service manager informed us that our brand new vehicle had been backed into a gas truck and paint chipped out of the rear panel!! No compensation was offered, just the promise that when the installation of the additional features we agreed upon took place, the body shop would "make it look like new." Three days later, a friendly service woman called to schedule the installation and body work. When I brought the vehicle in for the appointment I was given a loaner car to drive which had seats that could not be raised and I could barely see over the dash, and when I picked my CR-V up the next afternoon, they hadn't even washed it! I absolutely love the CR-V, but am very disappointed with the service at Luther. More

Although the dealership didn't have the exact car I was looking for, Nick was able to help me find a few that suggested I check out Luther St. Cloud. Although the dealership didn't have the exact car I was looking for, Nick was able to help me find a few that met my criteria at other Luther Dealerships. Nick was very accommodating to my schedule. After test driving the 2 vehicles I had narrowed it down to I decided on a 2010 Mazada3. Nick new I had a budget and worked with his team to make sure I was able to get the best deal on this vehicle and best price for my used car. I would highly recommend if you are in the market to get in contact with Luther Honda St. Cloud! More
