Service department is excellent. So I took my MX-5 to the Mazda store the other day and spent about an hour and a half sitting around waiting. This is perfectly alright but in that time I spoke to two sales people out of three. The third completely ignored us. I even went so far as to tell one of the sales folks I'd like to drive a new Mazda 3 to see how it handles and compares to the Mazda 3 I owned previously. Now I know that salespeople work on commission and don't want to risk missing a potential sale but this was on a Thursday afternoon. THERE WAS NOT ONE OTHER CUSTOMER IN THE PLACE. So why not take the chance that I might like the new Mazda 3 and take us for a test drive while our car is being serviced? Especially if I just told you I'd like to take a test drive. If I was a dealership service customers would be sitting in a new car immediately after handing the Service Adviser their keys. Other than that the experience was great. More
