My car was at the dealership almost 3 months, the quality check and unnecessary money i spent is unsatisfactory. After a new engine, turbo, oil change, tire balance and rotation they misses that my driver s check and unnecessary money i spent is unsatisfactory. After a new engine, turbo, oil change, tire balance and rotation they misses that my driver side wheel bearing was completely shot. I. Currently at an auto shop paying $700 for an issue that should have been caught, covered by my warranty and fixed before my car was released. Luther Mazda didn't care about the safety of me or my family. Im disgusted! More

My laundry list of issues with this dealership are too long to air out here. I'll just say this, if you are wanting to work with a dealership that actually cares about you during the car buying process, long to air out here. I'll just say this, if you are wanting to work with a dealership that actually cares about you during the car buying process, PLEASE do NOT go here. Oh and if you care about your check making it from the finance manger to the accounting department in order to be cashed for your down payment - they aren't good with that either. More
On a Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 15th, we talked to Courtney. She sent us a video of the car and we drove to Kansas City (about 180 miles), arriving in early evening. Since it was da 15th, we talked to Courtney. She sent us a video of the car and we drove to Kansas City (about 180 miles), arriving in early evening. Since it was dark we arranged to drive the car the next morning. Before we even left the motel Courtney informed us that some one had put down a deposit on the car and therefore that we could not drive it. I should point out that the chance to drive the car was the only reason we had gone to Kansas City. I was very suspicious of Courtney's statement that someone had put down a deposit on the car since the car had been sitting on the lot since Oct. 26th, a total of two weeks and six days. Given the demand for the GR Corolla, this is a virtually unprecedented length of time. At any rate, we went to another Kansas City Toyota dealer and were able to find and buy a new 2024 GR Corolla at almost the same price as Luther Mazda was advertising a 2023 used vehicle. More
This place is a joke. We bought our car there, took it there for every service. This last service we needed a tire patched. They told us it couldn't be patched and since i We bought our car there, took it there for every service. This last service we needed a tire patched. They told us it couldn't be patched and since it was all wheel drive, all 4 tires had to be replaced. xxxxxxxxx! We took the tire to a different tire shop and they patched it just fine. This place will try to screw you if they get a chance! Do NOT do business here! They deleted the review I left on Facebook. Hey Luther! Here's one xxxxty review you can't delete. You're a bunch of piranhas waiting to screw over the next victim. You know it's true too or you wouldn't have deleted my Facebook review. More
I would not even give this dealership one star. My daughter bought a used van here in June. They had it for two weeks and it started over heating. They called the dealership as it was a Monday. The My daughter bought a used van here in June. They had it for two weeks and it started over heating. They called the dealership as it was a Monday. They said to bring it in on Wednesday. Took it in and they said it needed a thermostat. Paid for the thermostat and then the dealership said the engine was bad and they needed a new engine. What? They had the van for two weeks. They had bought the extended warranty. Well the warranty people said their claim was denied because they don’t cover over heating. After trying to get them to do the right thing my kids have to pay for a new engine. Well the dealer was so gracious and said they were very helpful because they are going to pay for half of the rebuilt engine. It will only cost my kids close to $4,000. So fast forward to now. It is now the end of October and my kids still do not have their vehicle. The dealership has had their van this entire time. The communication has been terrible. It has been one excuse after another and they will take no responsibility. Do not buy from this dealer. More
Very Disappointed -Unethical Sales Practices. Would have selected 0 stars, but you can't post without at least one star. I've been a customer (of Premier Mazda) since I purchased a new 2016 vehic Would have selected 0 stars, but you can't post without at least one star. I've been a customer (of Premier Mazda) since I purchased a new 2016 vehicle from them. Have taken my car there for every oil change/issue and experienced very good service while it was under the Premier Mazda name. Last Friday, I placed an offer on a used car around 2:15pm and the sales associate said he would check with his manager and I never heard back. Saturday I could not get in touch with my sales associate. I first spoke with sales manager1 who looked up the car and said he was not the one the offer was presented to and he would check with sales manager2 (who was). Apparently my sales associate was out sick. Sales manager2 finally called me back and told me he was sorry for the miscommunication (in a very light and airy tone that had absolutely no sincerity) but the car sold Saturday morning and they weren't aware of my offer (despite the sales associate acknowledging and sales manager1 stating that he would talk to the manager the offer was presented to). Underhanded practices. I don't know if it's because of the new ownership (Luther Mazda), but service has definitely deteriorated. I am terribly disappointed by how I was treated. The car had been sitting on their lot for over a month and suddenly after I place an offer they go radio silent and it sells. This would have been a car for another member of my household. I will be finding a different place to get my 2016 Mazda serviced as I will never go back to Luther Mazda. I was offered a free oil change for my trouble. I found that insulting. More
Although we ultimately did not purchase a vehicle from this dealership, I would like to give a shout out to the salesman we worked with. Nick Kost was very polite, courteous and made every effort to expla this dealership, I would like to give a shout out to the salesman we worked with. This dealer leaves a lot to be desired. We purchased a car there from Matt. Matt was an excellent sales representative with solid product knowledge. If this was a review on him he deserves 5 stars. Howeve car there from Matt. Matt was an excellent sales representative with solid product knowledge. If this was a review on him he deserves 5 stars. However, this review is on the dealer. If we could rank lower than 1 star, we certainly would. Our deal included a free loaner when the car went in for service. They use suggestive selling to over maintain the car to increase their labor hours per repair order. Therefore, driving your cost higher than needed to maintain our daughter's car. This was her first service after purchasing a certified Mazda 3. They took advantage of our 18-year-old daughter by telling her she needed items that she did not, on a car they just certified. They did provide a free loaner that wasn't cleaned. We know it wasn't cleaned because they left a loaded 9mm handgun in the passenger's seat. Forget Covid-19 for a minute. Would hate to imagine what may have happened if they provided the same car to someone that had a child that was unaware of gun safety. When we brought it to their attention, they simply shrugged it off. Then our daughter was involved in a rear-end collision and we took it in for a repair estimate. They do not have body shops to support you after the sale. Then simply asked for a trade-in value with and without a carfax to support our claim for diminished value on an insurance claim. They also could not perform this simple kelly blue book valuation. Contacted another local Mazda dealer and they are happy to provide the simple service. Before you purchase consider if they can safely and competently support you after the sale. Everyone has enhanced their safe practices of cleaning and sanitizing vehicles to protect the people we love. Premier Mazda is not taking precautions. They are in it for profit only. More
EDIT: I went back a few weeks later, the management apologized profusely for the employee's behavior. I did end up buying a Mazda3 there. The star review has been edited to reflect that. Long Re apologized profusely for the employee's behavior. I did end up buying a Mazda3 there. The star review has been edited to reflect that. Long Review Here, but the TL;DR: I dealt with an incredibly rude; high-pressure salesperson who insulted my intelligence and didn't follow COVID protocols. Also, the place didn't have the car I was scheduled to drive, even with the understanding that it would be there to test. By far, this was the worst experience I've ever had a car dealership. The person who scheduled the test drive was super nice and understandable. Unfortunately, she was not the person I got as a representative. I got someone who, immediately after sitting down, asked me if I was going to be driving away in a new car today. I politely told him I was just wanting a test drive, but I was very interested in a Mazda3 they had and if it all checked out, I'd definitely buy it and give him the sale. His disposition immediately changed to him being angry and I told him I needed to talk it over with my girlfriend (who he would repeatedly refer to as "My girl" as the conversation went on) because we're on a tight budget. He would jump back and forth between "This is Black Friday - our deals are crazy right now. You don't want a deal!?" and "Do you really need to talk it over with your girl?" It didn't matter how many times I said no, he'd go back to it. After a few go-rounds, he gave up and said "Okay, let's check out the car." We find it on the site and he tells me he's going to get the keys. He goes into I assume the managers office where salespeople are constantly going into, taking off their masks, talking and then coming back out on the floor. Don't be fooled by the mask restrictions, they don't really care to follow that. He comes back and tells me that they don't have the car I was scheduled to test drive, despite that being specified with the schedule person that it was the sole reason I was coming to this dealership (If you're going, which I don't suggest, be sure the vehicle will be there). To make it worth my time, I test drive a different car, which was fine. I drove it for about 10 minutes to get a good feel for it and drove it back. When I arrived, the salesperson was outside, in close proximity with several other employees, all maskless. He yells at me "With all that time you took, I thought you were picking up your girl so we could make a deal." He then asked me to rate the car out of 10 and I say a 6 or 7. He replied "You took that long to drive it and it's just a 6 or a 7?" Once again, this was not the car I was interested in getting. I just wanted to test drive something because I had already driven 40 minutes for a car that wasn't there. Once he knows he's not getting a deal, he gets mad, pulls down his mask about two feet away from me and says: "Next time you come here, you better do your research. You better bring your girl and you better be ready to know what you want to buy." I ask him if the dealership will be ready to have the car I was supposed to drive. He took the keys and walked away. It was the most insulting sales experience I've ever had and I've dealt with awful people. By far, the most unprepared and unprofessional dealership I've ever visited. If you care for your health, money or general sense of self, go somewhere else. More
