The Luther Nissan Kia dealership provided excellent serivce on our 2012 Kia. I called the service department late in the day and the service department had an opening for service later that same day d serivce on our 2012 Kia. The service employee checked with the parts department to make sure the part was in stock. The part was in stock, and the service department was able to perform the service work, which took about 30 minutes. We barely had time to sit down and wait for the work to get completed. The service department was able to accommodate us earlier than our scheduled time, which was even better. Very satisified More

I called and dealt with Adam to schedule my appointment and ask questions if the work would be covered under my warranty, he checked and said my oil pan gasket would be and the safety recall would be picke and ask questions if the work would be covered under my warranty, he checked and said my oil pan gasket would be and the safety recall would be picked up by Kia, I said great and we scheduled the appointment. I brought my Sorrento in and explained to Scott that my blinkers in the inside of my car was not working but they were working on the outside. He checked it and said they would look at it. When we got back over to his desk he basically told me that I no longer had a warranty because I was at 60,000 miles, it had to be an extended warranty and that I would need to find out from who and get him all the information. When I bought this car in Iowa I had a full factory warranty up to about 81,000 miles. Plus Adam had already checked this information. I proceeded to have them hold my car in the service department while I went into the waiting room to call the dealership in Iowa where I purchased the car and had them pull my warranty, verify that what I needed fixed was covered and got 800 numbers for Scott, I also had my dealership in Iowa fax a copy of my warranty to Luther. I was extremely dis-satisfied with Scott's Customer Service and frankly with his attitude. I have NEVER had a problem coming into Luther and have always had a pleasant experience. I really felt like I was doing his job and I have worked in Customer Service for about the last 20 years. I am debating coming back to this dealership and fining another Kia dealership in the metro even if I have to drive farther. It's sad that when I actually go to write a review on Luther that it has to be a bad one, it takes a lot to make me actually write a formal review but if your not happy at work or just having a bad day, DON'T take it out on your customers. I recieved a somewhat confusing "recall" notice from Nissan. Upon bringing it in to have the work done, I was told the recall was already done, Scott Nemitz spent quite a bit of time on the phone w from Nissan. It turned out that the notice I got was to check to see if the original recall was effective-which it wasn't.Scott the authorization to have the recall done again at no cost to me. Very grateful! I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get the work done in a short time. I was on a tight schedule...and, originally, went in for an oil change, fluid check, and brake inspection. Not only were work done in a short time. I was on a tight schedule...and, originally, went in for an oil change, fluid check, and brake inspection. Not only were they able to get all that done but also the fix the front differential axle seal leak....and all in 31/2 hours. I asked for the truck to be done by 3:30...and they finished by 2:35. I've rated this dealership and it's service department on the high end because they serve it. I called them up, dropped off the vehicle and they made ever effort to accommodate my schedule to department on the high end because they serve it. The team is great the look for the most cost effective solution to the issue at hand and they stand behind their work.
