I purchased a very used Kia from a small lot and knew it needed a timing belt. I had another model of a Kia previously, but this one was new to me, and I had driven it from the car lot I purchased it from needed a timing belt. I had another model of a Kia previously, but this one was new to me, and I had driven it from the car lot I purchased it from directly to the dealership to have the belt replaced. Adam was very helpful when I got there and went over some basic functions of the car with me at check in. The prices are quoted up front, no hidden fees or costs, they are very communicative if they find something, or if they find things are just fine. Everything from calling to schedule the service drop off time, getting a price on the phone, to drop off/check in, pick up, it is well worth the drive for me. This is where I go to get my work done on my Kia's. Period. More

This service visit was to have the first oil change and multi-point inspection done, since I leased my Nissan Sentra. I brought in my used car for service, which I had recently acquired from an out of state dealership. The car was a lemon with a Nissan design flaw which required major repair. Luther's techs quickl recently acquired from an out of state dealership. The car was a lemon with a Nissan design flaw which required major repair. Luther's techs quickly confirmed the problem which kept my conversations going with the out of state dealer as well as with Nissan Consumer Affairs. Nissan refused to help cover the repair cost in any way since the vehicle was out of warranty. And the out of state dealership only covered 75% of the cost. When I explained the situation to Adam at Luther, he went to his dealership management and arranged to have an existing service special scaled up to justify a 10% discount off the repair cost. I find this to be very generous since the parties who should have been responsible did not really own up. The Luther dealership was in no way responsible for my situation. But they found a way to help out anyway. I am very likely to make the 50 mile drive to this dealership the next time I need service. Also, I purchased a different used vehicle from a Luther Toyota dealership about 5 years ago. They found a defect with my car while I had it in their Toyota service center for maintenance. Since it was in the 30 day warranty period, they reported the defect to me and did the additional work free of charge. That's top notch service and responsibility which I will not take for granted in the future. More
