A few years ago I bought a 2016 KIA Sorento from Luther KIA. At that time I also bought a Service+ booklet of coupons so I could get oil changes at the dealership. I figured they would identify any warrant KIA. At that time I also bought a Service+ booklet of coupons so I could get oil changes at the dealership. I figured they would identify any warranty issues if spotted during the oil change (like the people at the Saturn dealership did years prior). Some months after the purchase I brought the car in for an oil change. I used the coupon. All went well. The dealership put brand new tires on the vehicle just before I purchased the KIA so I asked them to rotate the tires after the oil change. They said it would cost me $30 to rotate the tires. Forget that! I brought the car over to Discount Tire and had the tires rotated for free. I am a solid repeat tire purchasing customer of Discount Tire and I recommend Discount Tire to family and friends. On another occasion at Luther KIA the inspection report indicated that my Sorento's tires were all good. After my own inspection I could see that two of the tires were adequately worn to warrant replacing. I brought the car over to Discount Tire for an inspection. The service agent showed me how measurably the tires were worn. It was clear that my tires needed to be replaced. Ever since that day I've paid special attention and have observed over the years that Luther KIA's Service Department will only do the bare minimum. Any seemingly little extra effort will cost you plenty. I recently scheduled an oil change and inspection then brought the Sorento in for a scheduled oil change. I told the rep that there is a rattling noise in the front-end and asked them to identify what the issue is. The oil change took a very long time, nearly 90 minutes. After the oil change, nothing was mentioned about the rattling sound so I asked about the noise. I was told the mechanic didn't hear any rattling. Either that is a lie or the mechanic didn't bother to drive the vehicle or maybe he's just some old guy with very poor hearing. Regardless, my concerns were dismissed. Soon as I got on the bumpy road outside the dealership I heard the rattling noise loud and clear. There is definitely something loose or worn in the front end...maybe a sway bar link's bushing... I called the dealership immediately, explained my experience and asked for an appointment to have someone actually pay attention and identify the very real issue that exists. I was told that they'd be happy to schedule the appointment and it would cost me $180. That was the last straw. I will never ever purchase another vehicle from a Luther dealership and I would and will discourage others from doing so as well. Going the extra mile, or even just offering excellent customer service, that's not how Luther operates. Luther only does the bare minimum. Be warned. More

Lack of communication from service department and untimely mannered.
