Actually the Nissan Altima was the first o service, Jason was very helpful, Neil & Rich were nice. I have been on a search for a new car for months. Actually the Nissan Altima was the first one I looked at but I did not drive it. After my lenghty search I kept thinking I wish I had driven the Altima. I am from IL and while in MN I had my son go with me so I could drive it snd see what he thought. I had received the best quote from Brian at Luther Nissan over two other dealers on the internet in your area. Once I drove it I was sold. The service was great however I have about one week till the paperwork is finalized. Until than I am very satified. When I returned home there was an ad in Chicago Tribune from Gurnee,IL Nissan for the same model car I had just purchased. They offered a $2500.00 Nissan rebate plus a big discount through their dealership. I called Jason about the rebate. He suggested I call that dealer to inquire about it. I learned the rebate was for $1500.00 like I got plus a $500.00 for manuel seats and another $500.00 discount for Nissan financing. I called Jason back and we talked about this. I learned the car was a base car and I did have a few extra perks over what they were offering. That being said I am happy again with my purchase. Just came in for an oil change. Everyone was extremely friendly. The fact that my first oil change was free was a pleasant surprise. Everyone was wonderful! They are very friendly and helpful. I purchased a used SUV about a month ago and the a/c went out. I brought it in with no problems and they fixed it for no charge. Great dealership, very friendly staff both in sales and service. I got great deal on my new KIA and I like there service remaiders by email and phone. I purchased my Kia Sedona from this dealership in '07. Since then I have had it in a number of times for numerous problems. I have dealt with Greg (Service Dept) on a number of occasions and feel that he Since then I have had it in a number of times for numerous problems. I have dealt with Greg (Service Dept) on a number of occasions and feel that he is very arrogant. Other men in the Service Dept. have been extremely wonderful to work with. Being a woman, I feel Greg thinks he is above women. I do not like dealing with him. As far as my vehicle goes, I feel that the '06 Kia Sedona I purchased with only 33 miles on it, has had it's fair share of problems. Just this year alone it has been in the dealership, for an extended period of time for the electrical problems it has had. (Extended period of time to me is more than 3 days) I DO NOT feel safe in this car. Just recently I had my Sedona in and was told by Greg that all of the electrical was not grounded properly. To me, that's just a fuse waiting to be lit. The sway bar links needed to be replaced and a couple of other issues that were hopefully resolved. Earlierthis year I have had the electrical junction box, at least that what they tell me, replaced twice within a 2 month period. My Sedona only has 45,000 - 46,000 miles on it. So you are wondering if I would recommend this dealership...to purchase a vehicle...NO - you don't know what you will be getting and how long it will be before something breaks down or possibly starts on fire...you would think they would check the grounding before putting the vehicle up for sale. Recommend this dealership for service....MAYBE...if working with Greg in the Service Dept....you better be a man. Everyone else in the serivce dept....man or woman would be fine. There was no pushiness or bad attitudes, and the problems we noticed with the car were taken care of at no cost to us as part of the purchas saying. We recently bought an Envoy from the Luther Nissan/KIA. Joe was particularly helpful in the purchase of this vehicle. We received a super 30-day warranty that enabled us to get a few minor repairs done on the truck. The service department was very helpful, and Joe and Mike Kelly were great to work with.
