When we got to Inver Grove to buy the car we were pleased to see everything was exactly as discussed. The buying experience was hassle free and friendly. A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT (and TERRIFIC) USED CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE! I bought a used Volvo S80 from this dealership. It was a trade-in. I saw the car listed on Carsoup. Within 10 minutes of emailing an i EXPERIENCE! I bought a used Volvo S80 from this dealership. It was a trade-in. I saw the car listed on Carsoup. Within 10 minutes of emailing an inquiry about the car, a salesperson, JP, called me with details about the Volvo, and directions to the dealership. He was friendly and down-to-earth, and not at all smarmy, like so many used car salesmen can be. Later he called me again to say he wouldn't be able to meet me in person for my test drive, due to a family emergency, but he gave me the name of his colleague to ask for when I arrived. That was so considerate--he could have just left a message with the receptionist at the dealership, but he communicated thoughtfully with me directly. When I test drove the car, I worked with Mike Kelly, who was also friendly, down-to-earth, and not at all pushy. The car had been detailed inside and out before I got there, and they had already ordered a part to replace a cracked headlight, and were scheduled to make the repair the next day. The test drive was good, but I had some concerns, and Mike assured me that the car with get a few repairs (at no increase in price), and would have to pass a 52-point used car inspection, before they would sell it to me. He also told me about the Luther Advantage, a program of discounts, coupons, and service available to all used car buyers at Luther. It includes $250 worth of coupons on things like chipped paint repair, auto glass repairs, tire patches, interior repairs, etc., coupons for discounts on gas at SuperAmerica, and free towing to a Luther service center. In other words, where every other dealership I went to was selling used cars "As-Is" with absolutely no follow-up or support, Luther offered great customer care. When I picked the car up, Mike told me they had replaced the battery, as well as making the other repairs, because the old battery was giving a weaker reading than they liked. That's the kind of service I'm talking about--they could, of course, have left the old battery in the car and I wouldn't have known it was weak, but they made sure the car was in absolutely tip-top shape. Without question, I would buy another used car from Luther Nissan Kia. In fact, I'd start looking there next time, instead of spending my Saturdays driving around to look at cars sold by skeevy, chain-smoking, pushy salesmen at places that couldn't care less about my satisfaction or safety. Go to Luther Nissan Kia. Ask for Mike Kelly. More
I gave them a high rating because they got me in quickly for some non-urgent issues. They quickly fixed some little issues and got me in and out and boy, was the car clean both inside and out when it was for some non-urgent issues. I brought my car in for an oil change and because it was the first oil change since I purchased the car, it was FREE OF CHARGE. They also checked a few other thing that I asked about. Service was good. Problem with auto was within the computer. Parts were ordered but not necessary. Service folks found this out via notice from KIA. I went to the dealership with certain needs/wants. - Ex - payment at a certain place, options such as mounted wheel controls for the radio, and blue tooth in the car. They found me everything I wanted plus some additional features that I love such as a sunroof and it was all in my budget. My salesperson was more concerned with finding me what I needed than making a sale to something I wouldn't have been happy with. I will go back and recommend Luther Nissan Kia to everyone I know. They also made a point of introducing me to someone in the repair shop and setting up my first oil change. Every question I had was answered and I felt extremely comfortable and not pressured. More
This was a easy sale for the dealer I worked with. I have been looking on-line for weeks found what I wanted, called agreed on a price and came to pick the Nissan Murano up. This vehicle was being driven by a sales person up to the time I bought it so I don't think it got the inspection that it needed. Once I left the dealership I noticed that I needed an oil change, had to stop to get gas and fluid for the windshield wipers and the worse part is when my husband looked at the brake pads he said I am going to need new pads soon. I was hoping that I wouldn't need to do any of this maintenance stuff for at least a week...that was not the case. I live 65 miles from the dealership so i couldn't just bring it back to have this stiff done. More
