My husband and i had been to many dealerships. We had been looking for a couple of weeks. When we walked into luther kia Kurt was at the front door and shook our hands and helped us out. That day we drove 3 cars. We were not sure if we wanted a suv or a sedan. Kurt was very patient with us. We could not believe he was not pushing us into one or the other. At other dealerships the woman that was "helping us" even stood in front of the main door saying whats holding you back over and over. We could not believe how rude. With luther kia there was no pressure. We were tired from car shopping all day and had to make up our minds to which car we wanted and it was 8:30. We asked kurt if he would be there tomorrow and set up a time to come back. We did some research on the internet that night with prices and value and reviews and decided on the sorento. We went back and Kurt was waiting. Through the whole process he was sooo patient. We made an offer and they accepted. Another thing that was nice is that the cars are not marked up alot like other dealerships do. When we have to buy another car i am coming here first. More
Overall was happy with the new cars process. One exception was that one of the sales managers was pretty pushy for me to commit to your dealership. Every time I bring the Sedona I bought at this dealership in for regular service, my confidence in the dealership's honestly and quality of work increases! Kurt was very knowledgeable, Brian served good customer service, Jason was very helpful, Neil & Rich were nice. I have been on a search for a new car for months. Actually the Nissan Altima was the first one I looked at but I did not drive it. After my lenghty search I kept thinking I wish I had driven the Altima. I am from IL and while in MN I had my son go with me so I could drive it snd see what he thought. I had received the best quote from Brian at Luther Nissan over two other dealers on the internet in your area. Once I drove it I was sold. The service was great however I have about one week till the paperwork is finalized. Until than I am very satified. When I returned home there was an ad in Chicago Tribune from Gurnee,IL Nissan for the same model car I had just purchased. They offered a $2500.00 Nissan rebate plus a big discount through their dealership. I called Jason about the rebate. He suggested I call that dealer to inquire about it. I learned the rebate was for $1500.00 like I got plus a $500.00 for manuel seats and another $500.00 discount for Nissan financing. I called Jason back and we talked about this. I learned the car was a base car and I did have a few extra perks over what they were offering. That being said I am happy again with my purchase. The car was ready and waiting when I arrived to sign and drive away. I had to compromise on my color options due to the fact that I was buying a manual transmission (the color selection was limited). But I don't think it was Jim's or Luther Nissan Kia's fault; it seems that Kia Corporation sends out cars with certain colors and options and then the area dealers have to pick from what Kia has thereby made available to them. Just came in for an oil change. Everyone was extremely friendly. The fact that my first oil change was free was a pleasant surprise. Everyone was wonderful! They are very friendly and helpful. I purchased a used SUV about a month ago and the a/c went out. I brought it in with no problems and they fixed it for no charge.
