I would rate this NISSAN dealership as excellent in customer service. I had an oil change, tire rotation, and wiper blade replacement. It was a very pleasant experience; the staff are efficient, fast customer service. I had an oil change, tire rotation, and wiper blade replacement. We brought our 2008 Kia Sedona in for a recall part on the sliding door. This part went just fine. The problem is the windshield has an air leak and the Kia Service person told us that the windshield w the sliding door. This part went just fine. The problem is the windshield has an air leak and the Kia Service person told us that the windshield was not an original Kia part and that we must have had the windshield replaced! We bought this vehicle brand new from Luther, never had the winshield replaced, and they want us to prove to them that we never replaced it? They keep records of everything so you would think that they should figure it out. Pretty disturbing if you buy a new vehicle that it should have the OEM glass. More
They lie about what product you will be receiving. They are condescending when you ask them to fix problems. They do not look for problems beyond what you have reported so you have to return. My car buying experience went very well. Bob was able to answer all questions I had about the used car I bought. Bob knew I was limited on my time during the purchase, so he completed the paper work in a very timely manner. Even the financial person, Jaimie, did a great job on helping me complete the buying process. I was greeted with friendliness and it was a great experience. I got a great price on my trade in vehicle also. My only suggestion is that I feel the salesman should of taken the time to tell me a little about the vehicle after I bought it, such as all the options the vehicle had. More
Let's get the bad out of the way first: This is not the most "aesthetically pleasing" dealership. The showroom is somewhat old and small, with little floor space that holds only three or four cars. The s most "aesthetically pleasing" dealership. The showroom is somewhat old and small, with little floor space that holds only three or four cars. The salemen don't even have cubicles, but rather small desks lined up against the window, one after another. But this is trivial, mere window dressing. Let's be honest, what separates one car dealership from another? There are two main reasons: (1) price and (2) friendly people. And Luther Nissan is tops in these categories by a mile. I shopped around via the Internet to get the best price on a new Murano. I corresponded with Mike Jung, one of the sales managers. Unlike other dealers, Mike was very responsive and pleasant to deal with, dotting all the I's and crossing all the T's by email. All the numbers were broken down in an easy-to-understand format; there were no surprises to be had. When I arrived everything was all set to go. Igor Tenenbaum, a very pleasant saleman, showed us the vehicle and its features and shephered the paperwork. And when we had a slight hiccup with one of the documents, Neil Haskins, another sales manager, went above and beyond in getting the problem fixed quickly and easily. More importantly, Luther's pricing was far and away the best of any of the local dealers -- and trust me, I contacted them all. Luther was very aggressive with their numbers, besting multiple dealers by several thousand dollars. There was no run-around or game-playing -- the lowest number was laid out from the beginning and it was significantly better than anyone else could do. Simply put, if you're looking for a new Nissan in the Twin Cities, go to Luther. More
I do have a little problem, On the back of the Kia Sportage, I thought I had a salt build up on the window hinges, Nope! After I had my husband look at it he found out that the paint is peeling off. Sportage, I thought I had a salt build up on the window hinges, Nope! After I had my husband look at it he found out that the paint is peeling off. I did ask Adam to take special attention to that area when they washed it! Nothing was said to me about it. I was disappointed that they did not pick that up. So now is the Big Question- How can I get this problem fixed? It looks awful what is suppose to be black hinges are now peeling off and turning a white color..... More
Overall experience with buying the new car (Rogue) was good....a positive outcome. It did not happen without some negotiation and compromise. We agreed to buy the car and put money down on Wed before 0% good....a positive outcome. It did not happen without some negotiation and compromise. We agreed to buy the car and put money down on Wed before 0% financing was to end. However, the model we wanted could not be found until the following week. When we went to take delivery and close the deal, Nissan financing said they could not honor the 0% financing. We were ready to walk, but the sales people worked out a favorable outcome with price and warrany extension to make up for the 1.9% financing. We really wanted the car and to try Nissan for the first time. Sales people made it happen in spite of the financing arm of Nissan. Thanks to the Inver Grove Hts salesman and sales manager. More
