I didn't have the best experience with this dealership but I love my car. The "lot guys" drove my car to meet me but drove it so recklessly it literally had tree branches hanging from the bottom of it. My husband and I saw them driving it and both said "hope that's not our new car (it only had 15k miles on it). The initial sales rep i worked with was informative and accomodating but he works in tangent with a partner and they don't seem to be on the same page. the process was a bit confusing. his partner was the person that did my sale and i guess because he didnt have to work for the sale i wasn't worth the effort to inform me as to what was happening. i gave them my info and was told to wait in the waiting room. 90 minutes later i went to find my sale rep because i had no idea what was going on. i had also mentioned that there were some deep scratches in the car from a buffing wheel and asked to have them buffed out. although they accomodated this they waited until it was time for me to leave to initiate the process---even though i was sitting there as was the car for more than an hour and a half. there were some other concerns that i brought to my initial sales person and he eventually put me through to his manager. the used car manager was rude, unapologetic for the crappy service and basically told me if i had an issue i should have let him know in the first 5 days i had the car and he would have just taken the car back. I am not sure if this dealership reads this feedback but if you do.......please tell your used car manager that simply saying i am sorry you had a bad experience goes a long way. making excuses, being confrontational, telling me that you are the guy in charge yet doing nothing to try to make your customer happy, and asking me what to do to fix it only makes me more upset. There are lots of dealership options out there- I would recommend Friendly Chev and their partner dealerships. When doing business with them they didn't act like i was doing them a favor by buying a car from them- they acted like they appreciated it. More

After many attempts to convey my displeasure, I took my 2012 Altima to Feldman for my most recent service appointment. WOW! What a difference! No more wrong information by moody employees who make you feel like you're a bother. Thank you Nissan North America!! They shoowed more concern for me than Luther. So much for the Luther Advantage. My next vehicle (Maxima) will be purchased at Feldman Nissan in Edina. I add this message to all the satisfied customers of Luther Nissan Kia, save all your work order slips as I do when you pay for your scheduled service. Keep notes on them with any communication as I did, you'll eventually need them. If you have problems as I did (and you will) contact NISSAN NORTH AMERICA 855-467-3214. They were (and still are) very helpful. They care about their brand and their reputation. Good Luck! More
I have bought two cars from them a Nissan and Kia. I was upfront with them about calling around (do not live in St Paul) for the best price, told them the features of the car I wanted, said didn't care abou upfront with them about calling around (do not live in St Paul) for the best price, told them the features of the car I wanted, said didn't care about the others, and get me the best price. The 1st they came in 2-3 grand less the first time around than the other dealers I dealt with and the second car they came in 600 less (after I told them their bid was the same as a local dealer). They still tried to sell me stuff at signing but just stick to your guns and say no. The second car came from another dealer, on the day they got it and we were on the way they found it had unwanted decals on it. They called me to warn me, asked if I wanted to look at them (i could have them at no cost) or to take them off (again at their cost). I didn't want them so they got them off and the car was ready for pick up by the time we got there. Basically they did a good job keeping us informed. More
I have has my Kia Sorento fixed at Luther Nissan Kia 3 times for the same problem. The 1st 2 times they fixed it the same part failed before 1 year. The last time they fixed the same problem again they no times for the same problem. The 1st 2 times they fixed it the same part failed before 1 year. The last time they fixed the same problem again they not only forgot to hook up the vacuum line for the 4wd but then the same part failed after 3 days. I go back there because the seal is leaking oil and then they tell me it will cost over 1900 dollars to repair. I just paid them 756 dollars 3 days prior. Then when I complain about their mechanics not being able to properly repair the problem the dealership manager blames it on me. More
I went to this dealership after work on 2/27/12 and had a horrible experience. I will never go back. When I learned from the salesman that the car I researched and wanted to test drive had already sold, he o horrible experience. I will never go back. When I learned from the salesman that the car I researched and wanted to test drive had already sold, he offered a test drive of a Chevy Tracker SUV that he had on the lot for $4988. I said fine and he went with us on the test drive. We made it about 1.5 miles away going west on Highway 110 in Mendota Heights when I switched drivers with my daughter. She started to drive and the car promptly died on 110. It was right while the salesman was telling me how the car had been safety checked and inspected. Yeah, right. We pulled over and sat on the side of the road. It would not turn over. The salemsan was very apologetic and called repeatedly for someone from Kia to pick us up. We waited almost 40 minutes for someone from the dealership to come and get us! It was cold and ridiculous. The person who picked us up was a teenage kid who drove recklessly and simply made excuses that he could not find us even though we were in plain sight on the side of the road. I will never go back to this dealership. First they try to sell us a lemon and then they make us wait for 40 minutes stranded in the piece of junk! More
My experience with Luther Kia/Nissan was a bit shakey. I had originally worked with Ron Ellis via email who quoted a price on a vehicle that was dealer invoice price minus $600 through my employer MERSC dis had originally worked with Ron Ellis via email who quoted a price on a vehicle that was dealer invoice price minus $600 through my employer MERSC discount program(I even have the emails). When it came to sign the paperwork, the price was MSRP minus $100 and Mr. Ramy in finance said they don't give out invoice prices; either Mr. Ramy or Ron Ellis where lying (or misrepresenting information). The vehichle that they eventually located for me had to be brought up from Mankato; when it arrived it had over four hundred miles on it. Last time I checked, Mankato is about 90 miles from the cities. No explaination or compensation was given/offered for the excessive miles on what they sold as a "new" car. During the 4-5 days they took to locate this vehicle, they had many opportunities to contact us and let us know what paperwork we should bring in. The dealership made no attempt to keep us updated or advise of what to bring in for the finance paperwork. This resulted in us having to fax in more paperwork the next business day. Last, during the initial search for a financer/bank one interest rate and monthly payment was quoted. When it came to sign everything, the interest rate and payment were higher then what was quoted. Even though they were generally nice, the sense of xxxxxxxx made the experience unpleasant. I love the Kia cars and the car I choose, but I don't think I can recommend going to Luther/Nissan More
My experience with Jeff was great. I was possibly the least excited customer he has ever had. I was in to get a car out of need rather than want. I really don't like wasting my time with these feed back things. But since I will be getting more emails and phone calls from your dealership and from Nissan itself it guess you force me to complete this. things. But since I will be getting more emails and phone calls from your dealership and from Nissan itself it guess you force me to complete this. I was very impressed with everyone at this Luther Dealership after some negotiation. I guess I was a little hesitant at leasing or buying new after my bad experience at another Luther dealership buying a used car. I didn't think I would get the deal I was looking for even though your dealership didn't have the exact model listed in the add, but your sales manager and Greg made it happen and went even further for me to make this a pleasant leasing experience. Thank you, Sincerely, Randy K. More
Every person I came into contact with showed examplery customer service, from the mechanics to the office personnel to the managers. Everyone greeted me and made sure I didn't have any lingering questions customer service, from the mechanics to the office personnel to the managers. I had a great experience from the first moment that JP responded to my inquiry. Prompt response, very helpful, naturally wanted to sell a vehicle, but there was no pressure. I would and already have recom responded to my inquiry. Prompt response, very helpful, naturally wanted to sell a vehicle, but there was no pressure. I would and already have recommended this dealership to others. I shouldn't need another vehicle for several years, but when I do, Luther Nissan will be my first stop. More
