No issues with anyone we worked with for this service, so not a slam on the folks in the service department--just a big picture gripe basically. Ended up with a nail in one of the tires on our new '13 Optima. Had it patched at a service station near us since it turns out the Optima has a hokey blow up patch kit from the factory. I'm sure it has to do with overall weight/mileage figures, but customers should be made aware of it which I wasn't when I bought it-basically my only real gripe with Kia/Luther thus far. I let customers know any issues I see in what is being offered, even if it's what I'm selling. They are ALWAYS thankful for it and it usually pays dividends at some point in some form. I requested to keep the "old" tire so that I could make a full size spare. The space is there in the trunk well for a full or even temp tire spare kit. I wonder if the dealership would consider offering up a spare tire kit on everything they send out the door. Pawning it off as a "factory" issue is weak. It's the dealer that is ultimately delivering the vehicle, not the factory. Blow up kits/roadside assistance etc are fine for many, but there are still some of us who know how to change a flat tire, can get on our way in 10 minutes and then have the tire patched at our convenience. Luther ordered the new tire and had it mounted which was good, although we were a bit surprised that Kia/Luther would not help us out in covering some of the tire replacement cost/mounting or at least offering a tire at cost vs. retail. Fortunately we had purchased the extended warranty which stepped up to the plate to cover up to $100 of replacement, yet we still covered the $45 above that--most of which was attributable to the retail cost of the tire which could easily have been forgiven. I don't see why a dealer doesn't see to it that a customer isn't asked to pay over and above a covered cost--provided by an extended warranty they sell--as a matter of courtesy. In the world of sales, it's always the little things that matter and a courtesy car wash wasn't worth $45. --Mike More

He listened to what I had to say and asked a lot of questions in every effort to get me the right car and the best deal possible. He answered all my questions and then some. Took all the time necessary so that I felt comfortable with every step of the process. Found the whole experience to be exactly the way it should be- honest, clear, and forthcoming with no hidden fees, tricks, or anything shady. Will definitely be coming back! More

Our car process started in July and ended in November. With major life changes in the near future, my fiance and I wanted to downsize from 2 vehicles into one. Finally in November we stopped into KIA in Bloomington about an hour before they closed, we were not expecting to buy a car that night. James, along with management and finance made sure they could do everything within their power to make our "dream" car a reality. 3 hours later we rode out of the lot in our brand new Optima. The staff really went above and beyond where words cannot explain. This location saved us hundreds of dollars in car payments a month, but their customer service and kindness is priceless. We will forever recommend KIA of Bloomington. I urge you to go check out what they have to offer today and don't be afraid to be honest with everything you have to work with because they will make anything and any situation work for you! More
I had a complimentary first oil change done after purchasing my new Kia Soul. The service was great, and they even vacuumed out the front and rear floors. He actually listened to me and responded to my specific needs, rather than speaking at me with a lot of canned sales-talk, which is my experience with some other dealers. The only negative with the experience was the push at the end for ridiculously expensive add-ons, like windshield treatments, rust-proofing, and others. It seemed the sales staff was mandated or incented to push these high-margin items and go through a gimmicky presentation. The products themselves seemed very good, and they would probably sell a lot more if the prices were anywhere close to reasonable. More

I had done my research and narrowed my car choices down to 3 cars. This was my nearest Kia dealership. (I had purchased a used car a different Luther dealership 2 years ago and been pleased with that pur to 3 cars. This was my nearest Kia dealership. (I had purchased a used car a different Luther dealership 2 years ago and been pleased with that purchase.) So I stopped by to test drive new 2012 Optimas. Bayo was the salesman that assisted me. I really liked the EX GDI model. That ended up being my choice of cars. That was a couple weeks before I was prepared to actually purchase the car. I told Bayo when I'd return to negotiate a deal. He was excellent to do business with. When I returned to make the purchase he was very easy to work with. We had a tentative price but I found slightly better deal on an "Internet price deal" at another local dealership. Bayo's Sales Mgr took just a few minutes to offer me a better value than I'd found on the Internet deal. I was happy to make the deal. After my price was finalized. everything this dealership did was excellent. Everything negotiated at time of purchase took place or was delivered on time as promised. Bayo and Luther Kia were absolutely great to work with on my purchase. They took great care of me. I've had the car back for one oil change since my purchase 5 months ago. I was pleased with that experience too. More
