Why I gave the rating I gave was treated well and the experience was great. The salesman listened to my needs and really took the time to find what I wanted in the inventory they had. I needed to get my car in for immediate repairs. Luther Hudson Chevrolet took my car in right away and was back to me within an hour for an estimate and recommendations to fix the problem. I was traveling back to my home in Madison, WI when my truck lost power and would only go about 25 mph. The added stress? I was pulling my horse trailer with two horses. The dealership, knowing I was "stuck," could have taken advantage of me since I was from out of town (and a woman!), but nothing could be further from the truth. Adam in the Service department listened to what I described happened. I was worried it was something expensive like the transmission. He reassured me they'd give it a thorough check. Turned out, it was "only" a clogged fuel filter! When I asked if the service area had REALLY checked everything out (the 4-W drive, the transmission, etc.), Adam assured me they had -- and again, they could have found "unnecessary" things, knowing I was stuck, but they absolutely did not, nor did they treat me in a patronizing way. Even the person taking my payment, the guy who brought my truck around for me when it was finished, and the sales staff were pleasant, friendly and welcoming. If I lived in the Twin Cities area, I would absolutely go to Luther Chevrolet to buy my next diesel truck -- or car. Hmmm, maybe I will anyway! :-) More
