Hopkins Honda has always been a great shop/dealer to work with and I have always been very satisified with the service provided. Purchased my car at this dealer as well. The experience I received with my latest visit was a little less in the customer serivce area that I experienced. Donna C. was not as friendly or happy to work with me and pushed me off right away with the manager which was fine for me as Roger was the person I needed to talk with and was very helpful, understanding. I did expect a call back sooner than I received but understand he had to talk with the Regional representative. I brought my car back in for the work, was told I needed to leave for 1/2 day and so I choose to get a loaner car to get back to work. I asked they contact me to let when completed or what was done. I had to call later that afternoon and spoke with Donna who seemed to have no time for me and I had to pry information from her. She directed me to the person that was working on my car (transfered) my call, hung up on me and when I called back she had given no apoloigy. I again had to ask all the questions instead of her giving me details of what was being done or was completed. I found out a week later that some piece under my dash is not secured properly as if the technician had forgot so I now have to bring my car back in to have that completed. Otherwise I am happy with the service and especially thankful to Roger who contacted the correct people to get my problems covered under warranty as the TBS stated known issue/ problem. I brought in my car due to a broken air conditioner, and found out it was a major repair. Roger treated me with honesty, respect and courtesy. Good place to buy a vehicle, but I suggest GET A SECOND OPINION BEFORE AGREEING TO ANY OUT-OF-WARRANTY SERVICE REPAIRS. I purchased my Pilot at this dealership and this was the only place I went to for re OPINION BEFORE AGREEING TO ANY OUT-OF-WARRANTY SERVICE REPAIRS. I purchased my Pilot at this dealership and this was the only place I went to for repair and oil changes, until I realized that they were requesting services that I did not require or parts that I did not need. I recently brought my Pilot in to Luther Hopkins because it was blowing warm A/C. After a $193.50 diagnostic check to see what the issue was, they claimed it needed new A/C suction and discharge hoses - at an estimated cost of $1,072.29. ....for a total repair bill of $1,265.79!!!! From the notes of the service advisor... "I would suggest starting with the those lines first and recharge the system" ....so what they were saying was let's start repairing and we'll find something else wrong from there. I was shocked! So I took my business to a local repair station for a 2nd opinion. They diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue for a total cost of $372.08. The hoses were completely fine and all that was required were a few simple O-rings and a freon charge. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! More
I am always treated well by the service department people. They explain the work well, wash my car, and let ask questions about my bill. The service department is clean, efficient and friendly. I dropped my vehicle off a few hours before my appointment and they called that it was completed an hour later...before my scheduled time. When I called to make a service appointment, I had my choice of times including "same day," The estimated time for my service visit was the same as the actual - amazing! I also had an unexpected fende choice of times including "same day," The estimated time for my service visit was the same as the actual - amazing! I also had an unexpected fender that was popped out (probably dinged in a parking lot). The body shop was going to give me an estimate, but instead was able to pop it right out. My bill was the promised amount and I was in and out in an hour. I am a very happy customer of Hopkins Honda and will sing their praise far and wide. Thank you!! More
