Had my much loved purchased at Hopkins Honda 2003 Element in for service THE EXACT SAME DAY my wife and I were picking up out $50K Honda Passport - which was a difficult experience in itself (sales and deliv in for service THE EXACT SAME DAY my wife and I were picking up out $50K Honda Passport - which was a difficult experience in itself (sales and delivery were awful - still working through that. My Element needed a simple oil change. I went in to pick it up and pay for the $60 oil change and I was told - oh your tires are worn... - Me: Really? I checked the report that went along with my oil change receipt and it stated that my tires were in the "yellow" 4/32nds of tread was reported. I told the service advisor that the tires have less than 7,500 miles on them. Service Advisor... a bit surprised with this information. - Oh, well it could be your alignment... Me:I had a four wheel alignment done when I bought the tires. Not only that but I had a shop replace the known flaw on the Elements and CRV's of that era in the rear suspension. A part which caused the tires to have significant negative camber - causing excessive tire wear. I literally fixed that issues BEFORE the tires and alignment. My Element is likely in better four wheel alignment than 95% or the ones on the road. Got home checked the tires with my personal tread gauge - between 7/32 and 8/32nds. Basically new tread on the tires. I ask you - How would you like your wife, daughter, mother or son get this type of sham advice from the "authority" - a certified Honda Dealer? Felt like a scam to sell tires. Add to that the sloppy job the tech did. The oil filter is a buggar on the Element. No clear way to remove it without making an oily mess. Normally that mess is cleaned up by the tech. Well the one who worked on mine failed to do any cleanup and my car dripped oil wherever it was parked for about a week after the oil change. More
This is a long story - started with the sales person not responding after my $1,000 deposit was placed. Then our credit information was "lost" - turns out the info was not lost but the dealer could not look responding after my $1,000 deposit was placed. Then our credit information was "lost" - turns out the info was not lost but the dealer could not look up the data even with the reference number sent to us by American Honda Finance and given to them. Then we set a delivery date, sold our current car - like gone out of my garage, then Honda issued a stop sale / delivery order so we needed to delay delivery due over a week due to a faulty cable installed at the factory. At pick up, the body trim was not attached in some places and attached poorly and most others. Hopkins Honda issued “we owe” at the time of ourchase. Then Hopkins Honda called and told me they have no idea why I was coming in or what time. When I went in for my “We Owe” the folks at Hopkins Honda were NOT happy to see me. Long story but it ended up they replace two missing from the factory clips but told me, after looking at two used Passports, one heavily used, that the trim on my 100 mile Passport was within “Honda Spec”. The same tech tried to tell me the rear passenger side door was supposed to be misaligned as it is engineered that way for less wind noise… xx! The driver side door was flush. He then went and got some tools and proceeded to whack my 100 mile Passport with a hammer in the customer drop off area to align the door. I was then yelled at by yet another service advisor that I needed to move my car… I didn't park it there YOU did. The “we owe” team simply walked away from me without another word. No - hey we should try getting the proper clips and reinstall the faulty trim… nope. Nothing. I get calls from the service department looking to respond to my American Honda Survey… I call them right back and leave VM messages. I have never heard back from anyone. I asked for a contact person within American Honda - I was told they would get me a name… they have not. Avoid Hopkins Honda. Take your money somewhere else. More
A big shout out to Luther Honda of Hopkins. I say that even though I ended up returning the vehicle I bought from them. They are true to their word and easy to work with. My sales rep Andie Dro I say that even though I ended up returning the vehicle I bought from them. They are true to their word and easy to work with. My sales rep Andie Drozdowski was awesome. Another sales rep that was great to work with was Riley Harrison. It is a very long story but essentially I found a barely used Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid that Luther had received as a trade-in. It was such a good deal that I flew in from Kansas City to pick it up. Everything was as promised. The problem was Chrysler (I should have bought an Odyssey). Two hundred miles into my return drive, the car died. It died two more times driving back to Minneapolis. Luther honored their 5-day return policy and simply handed back my check with their apologies. I highly recommend them. More

I am so grateful that Temi was available to help me the day I walked in to look at options for trading in my lease. I had been to other dealerships in town and was dreading the process. Temi immediately ma day I walked in to look at options for trading in my lease. I had been to other dealerships in town and was dreading the process. Temi immediately made me feel respected and heard. He actually ended up making the whole process enjoyable. My car wasn’t available that day and Temi kept me updated in the days following with a personalized video message which was very thoughtful and unexpected. Knowing that I am a busy working mom, Temi was very efficient and respectful of my time and had paperwork ready to go the day of pick-up. I would absolutely recommend Temi to anyone and would work with him again! More

His expertise is above and beyond, not only in the vehicles themselves but in the process as well. Temi is easy to work with, he has a great sense of humor and makes one feel comfortable right away. All the initial paperwork was done the first day, with the remaining paperwork to be done when I picked up the vehicle. Temi went so far as to have my new vehicle all ready and programed when I got there. I would recommend Luther Hopkins Honda to anyone, but especially Temi who is incredible to work with. I LOVE my new vehicle. Thanks again Temi for all your hard work. I'll see you in three years. More
