My Accord had an emissions warning light come on. I scheduled a service appointment for 11:30am on a Friday and made plans for lunch out with my wife. They told me service would take an hour and I retu scheduled a service appointment for 11:30am on a Friday and made plans for lunch out with my wife. They told me service would take an hour and I returned at 1:00pm. Upon returning they said it would be another hour from that point. Around 2:00pm they finally looked at my car and diagnosed that it needed a new oxygen sensor (which I had speculated what it was when I talked to them at 11:30am). Service was finally complete at 3:30pm after four hours at the dealership. The woman paying in front of me at the register was complaining of bad service too but a manager was not available to handle her complaint. This was my first experience with Hopkins Honda and it will be my last. If they had been honest with the time needed I would have driven my wife's car home after lunch and she would have had a coworker drop her off to pick up my car at the end of the day. As it was I wasted half a day, paid way too much and was never told why it too so long. More

I brought my car in for service due to no heat. I got a call back telling me my entire radiator and fan assembly and shroud needed to replaced at a cost of $1200.00. When I asked why, the service tech cou call back telling me my entire radiator and fan assembly and shroud needed to replaced at a cost of $1200.00. When I asked why, the service tech couldn't explain it very well. Next tiime it would be nice if the customer service person knew what was going on prior to making a call telling the customer it will cost $1200.00. The reason I marked a bad score for cost was I ended up taking my radiator problem to get fixed at a different location and it cost $500. The parts installed were new and also included a 3 year warranty on them as well. I realize a dealership is always going to cost more but I felt this was a bit excessive. Your customer service person also tried to sell me 4 new tires at a total cost of $800 for my Honda Accord. I shopped online and found the same tires for $80 a piece for a total cost of $320.00. Once again, that seems a bit excessive as well. More
They've always provided me with prompt and excellent service. I highly recommend them. I've made appointments the same day and several days in advance. The employees are friendly and the repairs always completed within the time told to me. More
Our service manager (Cara) was dismissive of our problem. She was quick to resolve our issue by "handling" us. She did not document the mechanics actions on our service report until I asked her to. I have bought several Hondas from Hopkins Honda. I have always found the salespeople to be respectful and willing to listen to my needs. I have had the same experience with the Service Department. I work one block from another Honda Dealership but I wouldn't consider leasing or having my Honda serviced anywhere but Hopkins Honda. More
