Service is always easy to schedule, they do a good job and do not overcharge. Service waiting area is excellent with business work space and wi-fi. I like to wait for my car, so this way I can continue and do not overcharge. Service waiting area is excellent with business work space and wi-fi. The paperwork part (setting up the appointment, getting checked in and out) was easy. Everyone was polite and professional. When I called back a few days later with a question, it was answered promptly and courteously. And as others have mentioned, the lounge area is very nice and the cookies (especially the frosted ones) are quite good. But I was told that the work would take about an hour, so I waited, taking time off from work, and even though no extra work was performed, it took closer to two hours to finish. I would have planned differently if I had known about that. Also, compared to my local independent mechanic, it's quite pricey for the same work. So unless there is something I think can only be solved by the dealer, I don't think the cookies are worth the extra money. More
I called to schedule what I thought was a routine appointment. The codes that came up on my car, I was told, were for an oil change and tire rotation and this should take 2 hours. When I arrived, I w appointment. The codes that came up on my car, I was told, were for an oil change and tire rotation and this should take 2 hours. When I arrived, I was told that I also needed a valve adjustment to the tune of $400.00 and it would take 4 hours. I was given a "rental car" to use for the day. That saved me $15.00. I think I should have been advised what the codes were for when I scheduled my appointment, and given the correct amount of time that it would take for the service. When questioned about the need for this service, the answers were vague. Did the service code come up because the car required it, or because I hit a certain number of miles on the car, combined with the age of the car? This makes me believe that there a whole lot of unneccessary work being done on Hondas. I did notice that all of the cars in for service that day were newer Hondas. They are good cars. Why all the need for service? BIG MONEY!!! More

Went to dealership for service on ubiquitous, and pervasive power steering problem; warranty has been extended on 2005-2010 Honda Odyssey for power steering problems--do a google search, there clearl pervasive power steering problem; warranty has been extended on 2005-2010 Honda Odyssey for power steering problems--do a google search, there clearly were manufacturing problems with that component of the vehicle. The dealership found a defective/worn out O ring--another problem you can google for this model--but would not consider that covered under the warranty. Cost? $150 to change $2.00 O ring. Shame on me. It seemed to me that the goodwill generated by covering this repair would be worth it. Clearly that is a sentiment not shared by this dealership; maybe all of Honda. We drive two Honda's. Guess what? The 2007 Honda Accord has been part of a Honda recall; for power steering problems. Took the Accord in, you guess it. They found the same problem, again they did not cover the service. Very disappointing. More

The service that I received from Luther Honda was great...the salesperson I worked with you friendly and the finance person was friendly as well. I didn't give a 5 because I drove my car out of the lot with barely no gas in the tank. I got to the dealership around 6PM and didn't leave until 9PM so I was eager to get out however, I still had to get gas on a very cold and windy night as well. More

The battery is suddenly dr I got this new 2013 CR-V on 12/29/12, and have added ~800 miles since. Then we ran into a bizarre situation on 1/23/13. The battery is suddenly drained during the day and has no power to start the vehicle. The vehicle has been on two 4-mile daily trips to school for a couple of days including one in that morning. The light is set on auto and everything is shut properly. (The driver has OCD and will spend up to an hour to make sure everything is in the right order each time.) The only change made after purchase was to have Best Buy install an after-market remote starter. (Best Buy is the contracted dealer for starter for Walser Honda.) We were in a crisis type of situation. The kid was waiting at school to be picked up by this vehicle and I was traveling 1500 miles away. It’s 5 PM in the evening and -10 F degree. The biggest concern is something happen to the kid. Fortunately Hopkins Honda has shuttle service (free) for its customer. Jerry offered to use their shuttle to pick up the kid. The driver Ron gracefully did so. We were so grateful that they did that. I rushed back the following morning and jump started the vehicle. Hopkins Honda did a thorough diagnose and couldn’t identify anything wrong, including the starter. We’ll have to keep monitor the situation and hope it doesn’t occur again. Overall, we are very grateful that Hopkins Honda and specifically the consultant Jerry helped us diverted the crisis for the kid. More
