I had a tire noise problem and the tires were out of warranty. The service department worked to find a solution and did with participation from Honda and the dealership. We brought our vehicle in for 2 reasons: 1)to check the battery and alarm system, as the battery would short when the alarm system went off and 2)to replace a recalled item. My husband and I dropped the v battery and alarm system, as the battery would short when the alarm system went off and 2)to replace a recalled item. My husband and I dropped the vehicle off the night before our 9:30am appointment. When we dropped it off, I let the gentleman know of our appt time. He said that there was no 9:30 appt and that they'd get us in around 11:00. I explained that our daughter needed the car and he said that it would be ready by 1:00, unless there was a serious problem. Originally, based on a 9:30 appointment, we were hoping that it would be ready by 11:30. After 1:00, I called to get a status on the car. I was told that I'd received a call back in 15 minutes, as they were just finishing up. Approximately 45 minutes later, a gentleman called. He stated that all the work was done and recommended that we replace a belt but said that it wasn't urgent. I told him that our daughter needed the car and asked for him to provide us with an estimate. I also asked if the cost would be the same, if we brought the vecicle back at a later date. He said yes. Our daughter came in to pick up her car. It was her first time in the dealership. She found the layout to be very confusing (as did we) and was confused as to where to go. After walking around for a bit, she finally found the check out area. She described the employees as less than friendly. Per my request, there was no estimate provided for the additional recommended work. I still do not have the estimate. Additionally, the day after we received our car back, I received an email from the dealership stating that we need to come in to replace a recalled part. This is the item that we brought the vehicle in for. Per our receipt, it shows that you replaced it. Bottom line, this vehicle was a company vehicle and is now our daughter's. Previously, due to work, it was taken to Richfield Honda. They were terrific. Hopkins Honda is closer to our home. We were looking for a new dealership for future use. I'm not sure that we've found it yet. I'd recommend some customer service training for our service in-take guy, some signage in the dealership (we are all highly educated and the 3 of us were confused) and some increased communication between departments (not impressive to receive an email about an outstanding recall item, the day after you pick your vehicle up from having the recalled item replaced.) You have a beautiful facility. Now, based on our experience, you just need to work on the most important part - your people & ability to communicate. More
The cars are high quality and they don't try to hide flaws or anything. But the salesman I had was very rude, he kept disappearing and just made us sit around for hours. I also felt like he looked down flaws or anything. But the salesman I had was very rude, he kept disappearing and just made us sit around for hours. I also felt like he looked down on me. Some of the other staff seemed nice though, but I didn't get to interact with them much. This place also has a new policy of a one price promise that is supposed to benefit both the customers and the dealership. I call bull. Eliminating negotiations just boxes in the buyer and puts all the power on the seller's side. They have every right to create a policy like this, but I am really offended that they try to pass it off as something they did for me. That's crap. It's for them. So if you don't mind a little rudeness and a couple of insulting business tactics, then this place is pretty good. I do really like the car I got, and that's what really matters I guess. More
Needed some a repair to hold me over until I buy in June. The recommended more repairs than I felt was needed. However, they were friendly, helpful and got me out the door. While my car was not worth fixing, the service department walked me through all the problems and the estimates. Hopkins Honda has always been a great shop/dealer to work with and I have always been very satisified with the service provided. Purchased my car at this dealer as well. The experience I received with my l with and I have always been very satisified with the service provided. Purchased my car at this dealer as well. The experience I received with my latest visit was a little less in the customer serivce area that I experienced. Donna C. was not as friendly or happy to work with me and pushed me off right away with the manager which was fine for me as Roger was the person I needed to talk with and was very helpful, understanding. I did expect a call back sooner than I received but understand he had to talk with the Regional representative. I brought my car back in for the work, was told I needed to leave for 1/2 day and so I choose to get a loaner car to get back to work. I asked they contact me to let when completed or what was done. I had to call later that afternoon and spoke with Donna who seemed to have no time for me and I had to pry information from her. She directed me to the person that was working on my car (transfered) my call, hung up on me and when I called back she had given no apoloigy. I again had to ask all the questions instead of her giving me details of what was being done or was completed. I found out a week later that some piece under my dash is not secured properly as if the technician had forgot so I now have to bring my car back in to have that completed. Otherwise I am happy with the service and especially thankful to Roger who contacted the correct people to get my problems covered under warranty as the TBS stated known issue/ problem. Thank you Honda! More

My salesperson Joe Harper was great to work with. I have bought two cars from him this year and I came back mainly because of him. The only negative experience was meeting with the finance person. I had a bought two cars from him this year and I came back mainly because of him. The only negative experience was meeting with the finance person. I had a 6:30 appointment but had to wait one hour in the waiting room to see the finance person. When I told him I was upset because of the wait he sort of gave me a sorry but we are just busy response. I sensed from him that I was just a difficult customer. So after having a good experience with Joe I ended my experience on a sour note. I will continue to work with Joe in the future but I will be more protective of my time when it comes to closing any deal. More
