I wish I could have her as my service consultant for all my visits to Hopkins Honda. May 24, 2013: My remote was unresponsive. Mike Pahl was great in resolving the issue.\ FYI. This is a first. Almost 9 years I have been a Hopkins Honda customer, This is the first time I have been contacted to write a review. Never before a phone survey or e-mail survey. More
My salesperson Joe Harper was great to work with. I have bought two cars from him this year and I came back mainly because of him. The only negative experience was meeting with the finance person. I had a bought two cars from him this year and I came back mainly because of him. The only negative experience was meeting with the finance person. I had a 6:30 appointment but had to wait one hour in the waiting room to see the finance person. When I told him I was upset because of the wait he sort of gave me a sorry but we are just busy response. I sensed from him that I was just a difficult customer. So after having a good experience with Joe I ended my experience on a sour note. I will continue to work with Joe in the future but I will be more protective of my time when it comes to closing any deal. More
The salesmen we dealt with were very good. Respectful, knowlegable and helpful. Doug went way out of his way to help me find the right car. Wes was great also. I thought the finance guy was great too. Ov knowlegable and helpful. Doug went way out of his way to help me find the right car. Wes was great also. I thought the finance guy was great too. Over all a very good experience and I have recommended Hopkins Honda to many friends. More
Good place to buy a vehicle, but I suggest GET A SECOND OPINION BEFORE AGREEING TO ANY OUT-OF-WARRANTY SERVICE REPAIRS. I purchased my Pilot at this dealership and this was the only place I went to for re OPINION BEFORE AGREEING TO ANY OUT-OF-WARRANTY SERVICE REPAIRS. I purchased my Pilot at this dealership and this was the only place I went to for repair and oil changes, until I realized that they were requesting services that I did not require or parts that I did not need. I recently brought my Pilot in to Luther Hopkins because it was blowing warm A/C. After a $193.50 diagnostic check to see what the issue was, they claimed it needed new A/C suction and discharge hoses - at an estimated cost of $1,072.29. ....for a total repair bill of $1,265.79!!!! From the notes of the service advisor... "I would suggest starting with the those lines first and recharge the system" ....so what they were saying was let's start repairing and we'll find something else wrong from there. I was shocked! So I took my business to a local repair station for a 2nd opinion. They diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue for a total cost of $372.08. The hoses were completely fine and all that was required were a few simple O-rings and a freon charge. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! More
I am always treated well by the service department people. They explain the work well, wash my car, and let ask questions about my bill. The service department is clean, efficient and friendly. I dropped my vehicle off a few hours before my appointment and they called that it was completed an hour later...before my scheduled time. We had nothing but problems with this dealership: the salesman kept telling us to hurry-up, he wanted to go home. Dan Schanaman forgot to photo copy my license and left a very rude message on my phone ab salesman kept telling us to hurry-up, he wanted to go home. Dan Schanaman forgot to photo copy my license and left a very rude message on my phone about how it was my responsibility to fix this and that he needed "the copy now. Not tomorrow. Now." The car was delivered to us with cat hair in the front seat, grass in the trunk, crumbs in the backseat, and stains in the coffee holder. We called Lee, the used car sales manager the next day and after some discussion, he offered for us to bring the car back to be "redetailed." My husband brought the car back and was told it would take 6-7 hours to detail. When he picked it up the next day, the car had never been detailed; it hadn't even been vaccuumed-- grass in the center console and backseat, dirt on the driver floor and in the trunk, coffee stains still in the cupholders, handprints on the glass, dust on the dashboard, and the exterior hadn't been washed. Plus, my floormats weren't returned. We reported the company to the BBB and sent Roger pictures of the mess. He has agreed reimburse us for detailing and new floormats from the detailer of our choice. It will probably be New Brighton Ford; we bought two new cars in May-- one for my husband and one for myself. We had a great experience at New Brighton Ford, nice salesman, no agressive voicemails from the finance manager, and a clean car with a full tank of gas. We're not so much upset about the dirty car, as how we've been let-down time and again with this dealership-- and from several departments. For all the talk about customer service being the first priority, the volume of business has obviously downgraded it's status. And we are upset about the amount of time and energy on our part to simply get a clean car. More
