Bad experience I went to this dealer to purchase used car, everything was awesome till we test drove the car and all the interactions with sales team. As I got finan I went to this dealer to purchase used car, everything was awesome till we test drove the car and all the interactions with sales team. As I got finance pre approval from credit Union, I updated their Finance team about it and I was expecting them to hand over the Purchase agreement to me so that I can do the paper works with credit union and get the check for them. They showed me Honda finance form and asked me fill the details and sign over it, When I asked them why I should as I already got pre approval from Credit Union I don't want any finance options from dealer. They lied to me that it is mandatory to run credit check irrespective of where you are getting financed. When I was insisting on paper works that needs to be submitted to credit union they said that would send them directly and they initiated new finance application for me to the same credit union without my knowledge as a result my credit score went down unnecessarily by few points. 1. Why they do do credit check ? or Authorize someone to do as I haven't requested them for finance. 2. Why they lied to me and forced to sign the form for credit and background check? Does Patriot Act mandates that, I believe that OFAC should be sufficient for cash transactions > $10000. 3. Why do they raised finance application for me without my knowledge? I already went through all the process of cerdit check to get my auto loan pre approved by credit union. 4. Why they didn't mentioned the out the door price, even after insisting on to let the final price they are saying it will be around around and no final figures. And when we ask them why do you start all new finace application for me when I already got pre approved one the reply was that to make your life easier we do that. More
