Absolute perfection. Needed an oil change but was running late. Drove my vehicle to the Quick Lube door, a service person took my vehicle inside, asked me a few questions Needed an oil change but was running late. 2017 Ford Escape rear liftgate issue Purchased new on August 16,2017 at this dealership. Brought back on 12/11/17 because of intermittent instances of the lift gate closing but not latchi Purchased new on August 16,2017 at this dealership. Brought back on 12/11/17 because of intermittent instances of the lift gate closing but not latching completely. After approx. 1 1/2 hours I was told that after having to remove the lift gate and realign the bottom clearance, that the problem was corrected. However, in early January, 2019, I noticed that the same problem was occurring. I brought it back for service at 10:00 am on 1/14/19. After approx. 1 1/2 hours I was told the problem had been taken care of with adjustment to the top of the door this time. As I drove out of Luther's lot I thought about checking but didn't bother. When I got back home in Moorhead, I did check and was extremely disappointed to discover we still had the same problem. I called immediately and was told to come back at 1:30 pm which I did. After 3 hours I was assured that the problem had finally been taken care of. So far, so good but I am a bit nervous about the same issue showing up in the future - especially after the 3 yr/ 36,000 mi bumper to bumper warranty has expired! I drive a 2001 Ford Escape, we purchased new (from Valley Ford - Fgo.), without any major issues to date. My wife typically drives the 2017 Escape and the reason we purchased it was based on the great track record I have had with my vehicle. I sincerely hope she won't be disappointed. Ron Ochocki More
