disappointed we purchased a pre owned certified vehicle 18 months ago. It came with extended warranty so when the driver side seat started coming apart thought it we purchased a pre owned certified vehicle 18 months ago. It came with extended warranty so when the driver side seat started coming apart thought it would be included in the warranty as I believe it is shoddy workmanship but instead they said interior was not covered though about 6 months ago they had fixed other interior defect and it was covered......so as you can imagine we were both shocked and hugely disappointed More

Air conditioner wouldn't work Service was excellent however i am disappointed i was charged almost $200 for something that i was told worked when i bought car on Oct 31, 2015. The Service Techs and managers out front are rockstars I have taken my vehicles to Luther Family Buick GMC since High School (back in the day when it was Sellands). The Service Managers out front to check you in are awesome. They are friendly, up front with you, and provide excellent customer service. My last visit, I had an issue and when I called to see if I could get in today, he was like for sure, we can squeeze you in to look at it, and go from there.. Awesome.. As it turned out they had to order parts, and so they had to keep it overnight, they found me a rental car to use in the interim, and even worked with my warranty company to pay for it! I have not had a bad experience with them. They are willing to the extra mile for their long time customers. I love that. That is what customer service is all about. If you come in having a bad day, they seem to try to crack some wise cracks to make me you smile again. ( that is until the bill comes, but hey that part is out of their control). I will continue to come to Luther Family Buick and recommend them to friends/family. More

Routine maintenance I took my car in for routine oil change. I also had a concern about some minor fluid leakage that had recently shown up under my car. When I checked I took my car in for routine oil change. I also had a concern about some minor fluid leakage that had recently shown up under my car. When I checked in I was told it was also time to rotate the tires so I agreed to have that done too. I was told it would take about an hour. While I waited I enjoyed pie, popcorn and a hot beverage. In about an hour the employee came to tell me of the cause of the fluid leak and to say my car was ready to go as the complimentary car wash was just being finished. Very good experience! More
Treated me rudely , kept me waiting too long I took my GMC van in for a warranty oil change and to have battery checked as it had no power, needed jump starting. I explained that I needed to be shown how to set the clock, as it kept reverting to timer, and asked why the air always seemed to be on when I wanted vent only., and to be shown how to use the settings. I was told that " "you are working with Kevin" and he dissmissed me, no introduction to Kevin, no explanation, no answers to my questions. An hour and a half later, when I asked why an oil change was taking so long, Kevin came stomping in to the waiting room, pointed out rudely on my paperwork that I had checked in at 7:51 am, and said, also rudely, that a tire rotation took an hour and a half. (TIRE ROTATION. Who told me about that?) NO ONE TOLD ME THAT. they also spent time checking the ac, when all I had asked was to be shown how to use it for vent. When I asked the unhelpful and rude Kevin how to set the clock, he said, Nathan will show you. So, okay, who is Nathan and why can you not explain it to me??How dare I ask questions. I have never been treated so rudely at a dealership before. If they want to avoid irritated customers, and I am extremely irritated, angry, they need to explain what will be done, instead of just saying warranty work, and tell me how long it will take before I get there, at least give an idea.Introductions should be made and assumptions should not be made. I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy and I expect kindness . Luther GMC service department did not treat me kindly nor with respect for my time and my legitimate questions. I will not go back there again and I am owed an apology. More
Engine Repair Took my car in for a routine oil change, but also explained that my engine seemed to be running rough and I had an engine light and a service code com Took my car in for a routine oil change, but also explained that my engine seemed to be running rough and I had an engine light and a service code coming up. Turned out one of the heads in my engine was bad and needed to be replaced. Paul set me up with a very nice rental car to use and contacted me regularly to give me updates on the status of my car while it was being repaired. Considering what was wrong with the car, it took less then a week to repair. Having a nice vehicle to drive while it was in the shop also made the experience a good one. The work that was done was under warranty so the price was right too. I also had a good size door ding in the car and asked if they could get it repaired while the car was in the shop and Paul coordinated that as well. It cost $125 to take out that ding, which I felt was reasonable and they did a very nice job of getting rid of an irritating eye sore on my car. My car was washed when I picked it up. Always feels good to pick up your car from the shop and it's cleaner then when you left it there. :) More
