I had to pay about $60 to get the van towed to your location on Monday, June 7, because it wouldn't start. I would have just towed it to an auto shop, but I already had a scheduled appointment with you guys for that Friday to get a second key made and get some recall work done. You did have the key and recall work done by Wednesday, June 9, which I appreciated. But replacing the battery did not fix the problem of the van not starting. I was able to start the van at the dealership (with the new key), and drive it home. But the next morning, I tried starting it with the original key again and it would not start. At this time, I did not realize that there was anything wrong with either key, so I didn't try the new key at that time. I had to spend another $60 to tow it to an auto shop. I did not tow it back to your location, because the last time I scheduled service, I had to schedule it a week out because of how backed up you were, and I didn't want to wait that long this time. The auto shop found that the reason the van wasn't starting was because the security chip in the original key was not functioning properly, and I would need a new key. And that was the actual issue. So not only did I pay hundreds of dollars for a new battery that may not have been needed at this time, but I had to pay an additional $60 to tow the van a second time.
