I was in a pinch and I needed to have my car fixed the part had been backordered since march with no date as to when it would become available but when I had called around I was told the Cadillac dealersh part had been backordered since march with no date as to when it would become available but when I had called around I was told the Cadillac dealership had some so I thought perhaps I would have good luck so I took it to the dealership my boyfriend had bought his truck from it was right by the house too. Long story short there was very little communication and what few things I did ask for I had to ask twice maybe 3 times before I could get a form emailed correctly so I could send it to insurance myself since they couldn't. They were able to get the part in a 2 week period so that was nice. My insurance denied the claim from what I could only imagine was miscommunication between the insurance company and my service advisor. He told me himself that he thought it was weird they requested pictures so he didnt send any and that he told them the newer cars dont overheat these days. My claim was that my car in fact was overheating.... When I went to pay for it after many conversations and attempts to negotiate something we both could agree on since insurance was no longer paying no agreement was made and they wouldn't allow me to pay with a family members card even after they called and stated it was ok to run. I get it policy but honestly my car sat there for like 2 months because of my insurance claim being denied, they wouldn't lower the bill, and then they treated me like I was some sort of criminal trying to run a credit card without permission. I just wanted my vehicle back so I could go to work the next day on time. Last but not least the check engine light popped the very next day the same code that was showing up when I dropped it off. SO FRUSTRATING! $100 diagnostics and apparently this code never showed up... yet its still showing up after I get it back. I'm so over it all. Honestly go somewhere else to get your car fixed its overpriced and the sales team is much nicer than the service team. More
