My husband and I were in the market for a Certified Pre-Owned hatchback, and we struck gold at Luther Hyundai Burnsville. Not only did we get a fantastic car, but Galen, Rich and Ted actually made the process fun. I feel like I've made new friends. I had been to two other dealerships, and contacted Galen via Cars.com to see if I could come look at a car. He promptly emailed me back and followed up with a phone call - which struck me as friendly, not pushy. When I arrived, he had the car pulled up front and freshly washed. He greeted both me and my friend warmly, and after the usual "getting to know you" talk, asked me what I hoped to accomplish today. I LOVED THIS. No one else had asked me this. We talked about the car I wanted to trade in, what I was looking for in a car, why I was interested in the Elantra GT, and then went out to look at the car. He showed me under the hood, and explained where to find things. Again, no one else had done this, and I was impressed. He also gave me the best explanation yet of why I would and should consider a Certified Pre-Owned car. I never felt the need to be cagey with Galen; he was open and honest, so I felt comfortable being so, too. Rich handled my trade in, and while we didn't talk too much, we found some things to bond over, and I feel confident that he got me the best deal possible for my old car. Ted assisted in the business office with financing and was beyond fun to work with. Financing was fun! He was helpful, friendly, and really made sure we understood our options. I was sad to have to leave his company - we had too much fun talking. I spent about 4 hours at the dealership total, and was truly sad to leave. Everyone was so nice to be around. The car is great and a very good deal, but what really sealed the purchase for me was the treatment by Galen, Rich and Ted. The other dealerships were ok, but no one there seemed interested in actually selling me a car - there was no pressure, but almost to a fault. Maybe it's because I was looking at used cars? There was no judgment at Luther Burnsville Hyundai.
