Terrible customer service I recently bought a mini van from them and was terribly disappointed by their customer service in regards to follow up issues. First of all, we agreed I recently bought a mini van from them and was terribly disappointed by their customer service in regards to follow up issues. First of all, we agreed to purchase it before it was detailed. No problem, I was told their detailing was amazing. For the most part great but left plenty of dog hair which I cleaned. It was missing a headrest and armrest button so I asked for part numbers (crickets on the button and a few days on the headrest ok fine). I also asked for pictures of the van to send to my family and friends who helped us replace our old van after my family was in a terrible accident. I have gotten NO response from that request either! The worst infraction was regarding the brakes. Before I purchased the van I paid an independent mechanic look it over. They had high praise for it except the brakes needed to be redone. I was told by their mechanics that the brakes were fine over 40% wear left and by their policy they do not replace if they are 30% or better. Ok, I purchased the van and once we got on the highway (a few days later) we realized the brakes were really bad (shaking and wobbling and high speed upon braking). I had the brakes looked at and replaced because they were down to 10% and the rotors were warped! I have been trying to get them to resolve this problem and have only heard silence. They have not responded to my attempts to contact them (I received an email that they talk about it and then would call me...they never did). They did not give me the van for free (we paid a fair price for it), but they misled me into believing the brakes were fine because their mechanics looked at them...horrendous customer service. I would love to recommend them but I cannot in good conscience do so! If they remedy this I will add an ammendment...Here is a picture of the brakes a week after purchase...We didn't drive it nearly enough to wear the pads 20% from 30% to 10%...they just did not want to replace the brakes since we already agreed in principle to purchase the van. Sad! I would give no stars if that was an option... More

Like a cold drink of water in a barren desert. So i scheduled a test drive at another vw dealership in the twin cities metro with a specific vehicle request. When I showed up for the test drive, i was informed the vehicle i was interested in was sold and I became pretty upset that no-one had called to let me know. After walking the lot for a bit, i realized these aren't the folks i want to do business with. So... I went to my car to calm down and assess the situation. I remembered that I had taken a test drive at Luther Brookdale VW about a month earlier and the sales guy (Preston) that had helped me was friendly. So I drove over and parked my car amongst the cars for sales so i could look at inventory as if I was a ninja. I found a couple cars I liked, so i went to grab a salesperson. Garrett's desk is right next to the side door I entered, so i said hi and we sat down at his desk. We looked at a couple of the cars that had caught my eye and decided to take a 2015 Jetta SE for a spin. I liked the car so i agreed to buy it. Financing was already set up through my credit union, but we tried through vw credit as well. VW credit had a higher apr, so i had to decline, but Jennifer in finance was cool about it and got me in and out. The next day, i returned to take delivery of the Jetta and Garrett helped me synchronize my Bluetooth and had arranged for a set of carpet mats in the trunk. The vehicle already came with rubber winter mats, but i like carpet in the summer. He didn't have to do that, but it showed me he cares. He sent us a list of 5 vehicles that we looked at online and settled on one we never gave a thought to so we told him we would test drive that one and it was perfect for us. Preston was great. And when we went to do our financing Jennifer made so painless we were in and out in about 30 minutes. Other dealerships we have sat there for hours waiting. We got to meet the service team, I thought that was a good idea since we will have our car serviced there. More
