My recent buying exprience Due to an accident , we were in need of another car. My daughter was on a budget, and karen was able to find us another certified vw within our budget Due to an accident , we were in need of another car. My daughter was on a budget, and karen was able to find us another certified vw within our budget. The only thing was the payment had included a service guard warranty. I declined the warranty, because the car had a 2/24 vw warranty. I explained to the finance department that my gap insurance may not cover aftermarket warranties, when financed with a car payment. We lowered the payment by over 60.00. also we did not see any vw extended warranty info in the finance department, or if it was available. I would have liked to of had a vw warranty option to add prior to vw warranty expiration . I will contact vw credit for affordable options. the service guard warranty offered was at a "discounted cost" of over 2500 dollars. The management should know about this practice of adding a service warranty without the customers knowledge when applying for financing! More
