As always, Luther Toyota came through. The 12-volt battery on my Prius died, on a -10 degree day. Once I got a jump, they took me without an appointment and had me back on my way within 1.5 hours. I have been a long time customer of Brookdale Toyota (formerly Toyota City) and have purchased 5 cars and leased 1 car from Toyota City. During this time, I have gotten to know some of the service pers (formerly Toyota City) and have purchased 5 cars and leased 1 car from Toyota City. I have had nothing but good experiences with this dealership. I purchased my vehicle there and for the most part I have had all of my service/repair work done there as well. This was my first experience with the service center. I was getting my heated seats and my FOB put into my car. The service that was done on my car was great. The customer service was poor. I never received a call telling me when my car would be done. It was supposed to be finished the day I dropped it off; however, nobody bothered to call me to tell me that the car wasn't finished. I called at 5:30 and was told that everyone had left for the day and someone would call me first thing in the morning with an update. Around1:00 p.m. I called again since nobody had contacted me. They said they weren't finished, but would call later. When I did pick up my car, nobody could show me how to use my electric start and nobody knew where the manual was for my new features. Someone said he would take a look and try to find them and send them to me. I am guessing I will never get them. Not sure if I will go back as this was an unpleasant experience. More

EVERY time we get service on our cars, the guys in the service department are BEYOND EX the Toyota dealer in Brooklyn Center for more than 20 years. EVERY time we get service on our cars, the guys in the service department are BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL! They are very professional and explain everything before the work is done. As a woman who knows little about cars, I appreciate the way in which they explain the work that needs to be done and how long it will take. I have never felt "put down" for not knowing something about what needs to be done on my car. We have recommended so many of our friends and family to get their cars serviced at this particular dealership and they are just as satisfied as we have been for years! We have also purchased all of our cars from this dealership BECAUSE the service department is so exceptional! Keep up the great customer service guys! More
I purchased my 2008 Toyota RAV4 from this dealership and have had it serviced here from the start. The facility is state-of-the-art; staff is professional, knowledgeable and courteous! I generally drop off/pick up my vehicle, but know I'd be very comfortable if I "hung out" to wait. Their lounge is a class act! It looks very comfortable -- computer access, TVs to watch, coffee and snacks to sustain you while you wait! I always use the coupons they mail out with reminders about service/maintenance and costs are always reasonable. I receive calls while service is being performed -- usually "everything looks good" or possibly a recommendation for a minor repair or replacement. They wash my car before I pick it up. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase, service or repair their Toyota! More

I took the car in a little early for regular service because in May I was told the the front struts were ready to lead. I had found a black spot by each front wheel the day before and called for servic because in May I was told the the front struts were ready to lead. I had found a black spot by each front wheel the day before and called for service on Monday. I was given a quick appointment for Tuesday. Duane was my service manage when I came in. We talked about what was needed and I went into the waiting room, where I relaxed and read my book while I drank 2 cups of your delicious cappuccino. Duane came in to tell me that the struts still did not not need changing, possible the next time or some time next year. However they found that the fuel protector shield had corroded and fallen on the gas line (I think that was where it was). He said I needed the shield replaced, and, of course, I agreed. One of the women at the payment desk had offered me information of a shorter way home because my entrance to 694 off of 35W going south was blocked this morning. It was clear yesterday. They routed us back the way I came to Highway 10 to 252 to 694 to Brooklyn Boulevard, which I felt was way out of the way. Her way got me home in good time. The other woman who took my payment was also friendly and helpful. I was also pleased that although I didn't mention it I was given the senior discount as usual. Thanks. More
