Neil was a pleasure to work with. He was friendly, responsive and very forthright in discussing options, pricing and other things relevant to my purchase of a new Camry Hybrid. I didn't feel that there was anything devious about Neil or the way that he conducted himself. I came to Brookdale Toyota after a unacceptable experience at Maplewood Toyota. Your new showroom is a delightful place to conduct business. I would certainly do business with Neil again in the future. Similarly, Chad in your business office was friendly, thorough and easy to work with. I was very comfortable with both of these men. You should give both of them a pat on the back. Next time I run into such a bunch of mumble-jumble, I will indeed skip the review - and this comes from a guy who spent 40 years practicing law. You could certainly get across what you want to accomplish with about 10% of the verbiage. More

This dealership is friendly, thorough, prompt and excellent at customer service. They recently opened up a new dealership and the waiting area is amazing. It is comfortable and almost luxurious. The staff really knows how to talk to each customer in explaining the problem and also what exactly the service department did to the vehicle to make sure it was in excellent condition when you left the dealership. Drove from St. Louis Park on Thanksgiving to drop off truck for service. I confirmed prior to dropping off the vehicle that I would drop it off Thursday evening, and the coupon would be left on the front truck for service. I confirmed prior to dropping off the vehicle that I would drop it off Thursday evening, and the coupon would be left on the front seat. Received call 8:30am to confirm the service needed, as indicated in a note on a coupon that I left on passenger seat. I confirmed service and why I wanted brake inspection. Jeremy gave an approximate finish time of lunch. Called at 2:30 to confirm status as I had not received call it was finished. I picked up vehicle at 4pm, paid $54 for oil chance, tire rotation, brake inspection. The coupon left on the seat was never applied. When I got back to St. Louis Park and realized this I called and spoke with Nathan. He told me they could not do anything without driving BACK to Brooklyn Park a third time to give them the coupon. I even provided the invoice number and offered to provide the numbers on the coupon. Jeremy clearly saw the coupon, as he called to confirm the note left on the coupon. But they did not apply it, and told me it was my responsibility to go INTO the vehicle, get the coupon and bring it back to them BEFORE paying the bill. It was not assumed that I would have to go to my vehicle upon completion, get the coupon and hand it to the cashier in order for it to be applied. It hardly seems worth it to take the time and gas money to drive up there a third time to get my coupon redeemed. This is not good customer service. A good way to squeeze $20 out of a customer and encourage them to find a new service station - and make sure the customer doesn't recommend Luther to friends/family. More
