I'm driving my second Prius from this dealer (same salesperson, too, after 5 years - Badou), and have no complaints. My first impression was great and I was excited! The sales rep. I was working with told me that we have many Luther locations in the Twin Cities area and one of the benefits of buying a car from us is that you get this fuel saver card, you can go to any dealership to get your car repair and you can pull up to any Luther dealership and get a car wash for free, these are just some of the benefits of being a part of the Luther family. I thought to myself, finally a dealership that took care of their customers. WELL MY THOUGHT WAS SHORT LIVED. When I pulled up to Luther Brookdale Toyota to get my car wash, after my car being washed I was approached by Jeremy, I don't know what position he held but what he said to me I feel insulted by him he stated to me in a loud manner "THIS IS NOT A PUBLIC CAR WASH AND YOU SHOULD NOT BE USING IT" I explained to him that I bought my car from a Luther family dealership and was told I could pull up to any Luther dealership and use the car wash as I was told. He stated to me once again in a loud manner "THIS IS STRICTLY JUST FOR OUR CUSTOMERS AND YOU SHOULD NOT USE IT IN THE FUTURE". I told him okay sir and continue on. I got home and reflected on what was said to me "THIS IS STRICTLY JUST FOR OUR CUSTOMERS AND YOU SHOULD NOT USE IT IN THE FUTURE". So what am I to Luther's dealership if I am not a cutomers? I just bought a car from them and my license plates had not even come in. Where was the rude loud manner when I was a buyer? because if I had known Luther was full of it and filled with lies I would have bought my money to another dealership where they would keep their words. I just wanted to share my experience with everyone out there that plans on buying from a Luther dealership. I can only speak for myself but for me Luther Dealerships, when they give up the speech of "welcome to the Luther family, one of the great things about being a part of our family is that we take care of everyone that buys a car from us". THEY ARE FULL OF IT.. YOU CAN'T EVEN KEEP YOUR WORD ABOUT A CAR WASH AND YOU EXPECT ME TO GIVE YOU MY MONEY AND HAVE MY CAR SERVICE BY YOU? THOSE TWO THINGS WILL NOT HAPPEN FOR ME AGAIN! More

I was looking to lease another vehicle. I love working with the Luther dealerships and previously was driving a Malibu. The Luther Chev dealership could not find me another car that was in my price range with the Luther dealerships and previously was driving a Malibu. The Luther Chev dealership could not find me another car that was in my price range at all. So, I ventured out and visited other Luther dealerships. I have never driven a Toyota but always liked the look of the Camry and I know a few people that drove Camrys. They gave great reviews. I walked into Luther Toyota on Brooklyn Blvd. to see what they had. Neil approached me and was very helpful and attentive and he set me up on a couple test drives with Camrys and followed through every step of the leasing process. He was not pushy or rude at all -- he listened to what I wanted -- it was pretty straight forward -- needed this price and this lease payment, etc. and he worked with numbers and Toyota financials and we made a deal. It took me a week to decide - in that week - I got a nice letter from Neil - I got a call from Neil asking if he could answer any other questions I had, etc. He is not the typical car salesman -- he was genuine and sincere and truly cares about his customers and what they want and what they can afford and wants them to leave happy. Neil was a pleasure to work with. He was friendly, responsive and very forthright in discussing options, pricing and other things relevant to my purchase of a new Camry Hybrid. Your new showroom is a delightful place to conduct business. I would certainly do business with Neil again in the future. Similarly, Chad in your business office was friendly, thorough and easy to work with. I was very comfortable with both of these men. You should give both of them a pat on the back. This dealership is friendly, thorough, prompt and excellent at customer service. They recently opened up a new dealership and the waiting area is amazing. It is comfortable and almost luxurious. The staff really knows how to talk to each customer in explaining the problem and also what exactly the service department did to the vehicle to make sure it was in excellent condition when you left the dealership.
