Sadly, the service I've received from Luther Mitsubishi has declined over the past few years, mostly since they moved to the new location. This occasion has been the worst. I dropped my car off the Frida has declined over the past few years, mostly since they moved to the new location. This occasion has been the worst. I dropped my car off the Friday evening before the Saturday appointment, and was informed I would get text messages when the service was performed, if they found anything wrong that needed additional work, and when I could pick-up my car. I received none of that. I waited until mid-morning on Monday(~10am) before I called the service department. The phone rang and rang; I stopped counting after 4 rollovers. When someone did answer, they placed me on hold for what felt like an eternity. The service person came back online and said my car was finished. He couldn't see that anything had been to the car, other than charging the battery overnight. I asked the cost, he said no charge. I asked can I come and get the car, he said sure and stated hours and how I could retrieve my car. Fifteen minutes later, I receive a text stating there is $100 fee for the diagnostics test. The reason I brought in my car: the battery drained to dead approximately every 5 to 10 days. I presumed there was a short or open in the electrical system. The service person I talked to said, "...drive the car more...so the battery stays charged...". ...really...? I brought the car in because it used to be able to sit for more than 3 weeks and the battery did not drain in that time frame; it's a new battery from March of this year. So much for the diagnostics testing. I miss the two seasoned mechanics who knew and loved my unique vehicle. They did exceptional work, and would go above and beyond when working my car. They explained what they did and why; showed me old and new parts when parts needed replacing; they would call to make sure everything they were doing was okay, and give me a rough estimate of time and cost. It was a pleasure working with them. After this last service appointment, I’m feeling reluctant to bring my vehicle back to Luther Service. I felt forgotten and my vehicle uncared for. The only reason I gave 2 Stars instead of 1 Star: At least I got my vehicle back and in the same condition when I left it. More
