I did my research online for the type of vehicle I wanted & found the one that matched at Luther Brookdale Mazda. I just drove over one evening & purely by the grace of God got Durrell as a sales person. He is the absolute best - both my husband and I had an immediate connection with him and it is CLEAR he knows his cars. I went back a few days later after checking out some other cars & dealers - I had decided that if I was buying a new car, it was from Durrell. He went out of his way to help me. And huge bonus - even after buying the car, he is still helping me by explaining how their service department works & getting me set up with them. Best car buying experience ever! And I've bought many cars over the years!! More

Terrible Experience We had an appointment and drove from out of town to purchase a vehicle which was being shipped in, he neglected to tell us the vehicle came in very po We had an appointment and drove from out of town to purchase a vehicle which was being shipped in, he neglected to tell us the vehicle came in very poor condition 3 days earlier. The interior was scratched up, the exterior had dents/dings/scratches on it. The monitor for the entertainment system was smashed to bits, and the vehicle had not even been cleaned out yet. It would have been nice to have received a call about this to save us the drive time as apparently the vehicle either needed time in the shop, even then it seemed to be in very poor condition. Wife and I both had worked overnight and told the salesman that this was the case, still received no call/heads up. Wasted 2 days of my life on this dealership, they wouldn't even drop the price at all considering the condition. It took us 1.5 hours just for them to give us our $500 hold deposit back and get our trade in title. I now see the vehicle listed online at a discount and with no pictures available. I'm glad we didn't purchase from Luther. More

He made the normally undesirable experience of car buying as comfortable as possible, and I appreciated that. An optional feature that I was having the dealership add on to the pre-owned car delayed its availability the day of purchase. Durrell offered to have one of their drivers deliver the car to my home when the work was finished, and drive my trade-in back, at no extra cost to me--a 3 hour one way drive to outstate MN! That is stand-out customer service provided by Luther Mazda, and meant a lot to me! I would confidently recommend seeking out Durrell at Luther Mazda for great service in buying a car! More

The MOST AMAZING car buying experience ever!! The day I bought my vehicle I had an appointment with another salesman at a different dealership to look at / buy a specific vehicle they had on their The day I bought my vehicle I had an appointment with another salesman at a different dealership to look at / buy a specific vehicle they had on their lot.....that morning, before my appointment time, they sold it. I went online found a vehicle I was interested in and started an online chat with Durrell at Luther Auto - Brookdale Mazda Mitsubishi. This was around noon...after several failed online application attempts (my fault lol) Durrel said he would give me a call and take care of it for me. After he got all of my information he literally took it and ran with it....one hour later he called me back to let me know that I was able to come in and test drive / purchase the vehicle. Dan Nelson had all of the paperwork ready to go and explained everything to me in a way that made my experience just that much better!! By no fault of Durrell's or the dealership I was not able to drive my new vehicle off the lot that day. Durrell offered to have my new vehicle delivered and when the timing didn't work out quite as expected Durrell offered to drive it down (an hour away) himself...ON HIS OFF DAY! Since then Durrell has answered any questions I've had....by the way, he already sold the vehicle and this is not really his "job" anymore. This experience from start to finish was like no other customer service I have ever experienced. Thank you so much Durrell for everything you did, all the time you took, and your patience with me, and to Luther Auto for being pretty freaking amazing!!! Going forward Luther Auto and Durrell will always be my recommendation to friends and family looking for a vehicle!! More
