2018 Honda Fit Sport. Transmission blew up at 118,000 miles. Had towed to my regular mechanic. This was his diagnosis after taking it apart and inspecting. I bought a Ho Transmission blew up at 118,000 miles. Had towed to my regular mechanic. This was his diagnosis after taking it apart and inspecting. I bought a Honda specifically due to their reputation to being "bullet proof". Thought this may be an outlier, and even though it's just above the typically 100k drive train warranty they could at least help a customer with something. So I called corporate Honda. Told them the diagnosis from my shop, mileage, regular maintenance including full 100k maintenance done at 95k which included a transmission fluid flush. They said, "To cover anything it will have to be brought to a Honda dealer." Figuring with the information I told them they would help with something. Paid to have it towed to Honda dealer. Exact same diagnosis. After being the middle man and corporate telling me they won't call the dealer twice, and the dealer calling me asking what corporates doing, I finally spoke to a manager at the dealer and asked why I had to have it towed to Honda if they won't talk to each other. Manager said, "That's not true. We talk to each other all the time." Then why am I talking to you right now instead of you to corporate?! Right after I'm told corporate won't do anything and if they'd like me to have them to replace the transmission. At this point I don't trust thier customer service, professional ability to do anything, or their product. So I have to pay once again to have it towed back to my mechanic. I call corporate Honda for the reason why they had me tow it to the dealer if they wouldn't help with anything anyways. Their excuse was, "It only comes with a 60k power train warranty." So I ask if it's a normal thing that their transmissions blow up at 100k. Honda couldn't have an answer for me. I felt very taken advantage of. It seems as though Honda products have gone from most reliable to least reliable and profit is more important than customer service. Unfortunately I will never buy a Honda again, and this situation will have to be a topic of discussion when anyone mentions buying a vehicle. Not allowed to talk to technician who said I should spend over $7500 on car repairs after I paid $115 for a diagnostic test. I wanted to ask him questions. This Ashley was not knowledgeable and couldn't answer my concerns. Not a good experience at this dealership. Been better to go to a private mechanic. Service was quite snooty that I couldn't talk to the technician in person or on the phone when I called back. More

Jon T was great to deal with as we worked on making a car purchase. He was helpful, knew his business, and was efficient in working with me. He even called me up the next day to make sure the new car we drove home was in good operating order. He made sure to let us know we could contact him at any time if we had questions. He was super to deal with as was Kevin W, the finance person who was very helpful in getting us settled on that area. The employees in this dealership are calm, helpful, and never pushy which is why we keep coming back and buying our next car from them! More
