After our test drive, our sales person found a vehicle that was coming in a couple weeks and completed the paper work. The vehicle actually arrived ahead of schedule and was exactly what we wanted. When Hyundai came out with the new Elantra in DEC. 2010, it was exactly what I was looking for - very stylish, small with lots of room inside (sounds contradictory), incredible gas mileage, all the features I wanted (everything). I stopped and met Greg LaTourelle out in the lot. We had a great relationship right from the start. This car was in short supply, so Greg called me in Arizona to tell me what was coming in. I put money down and he held it for several weeks. Excellect experience - would recommend to anyone. The car is fantastic - obviously the best I have ever owned. The color was not my first or second choice, but after seeing it, it is much better than my first two choices. I now know that I would have tired of the colors I first picked. Love the car - it truly turns heads. More
The sales person I had, Mr. Tracy DeBruzzi focused on specifics and he did not attempt to 'steer' my purchse decision toward more features or an higher priced vehicle. Much of our interchange took place via email, making my evaluation much easier, as compared to playing phone tag, or having to drive from Monticello to Bloomington just to gather information and look at the cars on the lot. Similarly the finance person Noah explained features in an understandable manner encouraging a possible add on sale, in my case the 100,000 10 year warranty, by merely noting "in five years the price of labor could be around $200 and hour. A couple of repairs could cost more than $1299." Both men reviewed all aspects of the paperwork, and literature that I needed to know. He answered my questions and called or emailed promptly. This is my first new car. I talked with Tracy on Wednesday and had my car on Friday. Tracy acts like a regular guy, not pushy sales talk. When he realized I was concerned about price, he did not try to push any extras. Eric, the finance guy, was also friendly, easy to talk with and not pushy about the extras that can add a lot to the price of a car. I visited Luther through the USAA internet program. Darell Hanson contacted me by phone and email. We corresponed by email and set up a time for a test drive. The price for my trade in was also the price I had researched myself. I would recommend this dealership and Darell to anyone looking for a Hyundai. I usually dread going to purchase a car even when I know what I want and the price I am willing to pay. The whole process was smooth. I am willing to purchase future vehicles there provided I continue to enjoy my Sonata. More
Wanted to buy a Tuscon but all they had were bright blue and brown in the GLS model. They pushed to bump us into the higher-end model (and price) and when we refused said they could get a black, silver, or and brown in the GLS model. After 2 weeks and no contact from the dealer, we saw a silver GLS on their online inventory. When we called and asked if it was our car, we were told it would be $1k more than the price we were originally quoted. We were extremely disappointed and felt like we weren't taken as serious customers. We went to Morrie's and bought a Nissan Rogue instead (and walked out with it that very same day). More
