Nice setting and overall great area while waiting for my vehicle to be serviced. They didn’t have much used cars available to window shop from but I suppose most places are lacking cars now. Bad communication. Quoted me for the wrong part, even though I called twice to double-check. Gave me a higher quote for the service while in-person than on the phone. While I have had positive experiences with different service providers (Jacob Yeh and Mitch Rose), I had a very negative experience with Scott Nemitz. I was told that I would be asked for my authorizati service providers (Jacob Yeh and Mitch Rose), I had a very negative experience with Scott Nemitz. I was told that I would be asked for my authorization before any work is done that would incur costs beyond the diagnostic fee. However, Scott Nemitz told me that I had to pay for new parts already installed in my vehicle without ever asking for my permission to do so. The cost of the parts wasn’t as big of an issue as was the way he communicated with me about it. Scott Nemitz was short with me and condescending, typing words in all caps (e.g. GASKETS), as if I am stupid or cannot read. As a PhD student at UMN and a woman of color, I strongly believe Scott Nemitz wouldn’t have communicated with a man in the same manner in which he responded to me. I think it’s time I take my business elsewhere. More
Came in with low pressure in my tire and the culprit was immediately found and removed.
