I just leased my third Subaru (2019 Forester), ma My husband and I have been customers @ this Luther Bloomington Acura Bloomington for several years. I just leased my third Subaru (2019 Forester), making it my third Subaru. The reason for my service appt was to replace a speaker in back seat area that was flawed upon deliver. It did take quite a while to get the part, but once it arrived at the dealership, I was notified and an appt scheduled promptly. Service excellent and fast. Mitch was in charge of this service appt. Good man! More

Windshield Replacement As I dropped my Acura MDX off to get the windshield replaced along with a routine oil change, my technician Randy Larson got a call that the windshiel As I dropped my Acura MDX off to get the windshield replaced along with a routine oil change, my technician Randy Larson got a call that the windshield had a defect and a new one would be ready the next day. Randy informed me of the situation & told me to just take the Acura loaner & keep it an extra day while my MDX was repaired. The following afternoon Randy called me & let me know my MDX was finished & how the dealership was open to 9:00 pm. Everything on my MDX was completed & it was washed too. Overall excellent service from Randy & Luther Acura in Bloomington, MN. More
Super! Bloomington Subaru went the extra mile to fix the e. Lisa, in the service department, went to bat for me so that Bloomington Subaru was able to fix the exterior finish on my 2018 car. Unhelpful I brought my car in for service for three things - the standard oil change/tire rotation that was due, an annoying noise and I had hit the antenna on I brought my car in for service for three things - the standard oil change/tire rotation that was due, an annoying noise and I had hit the antenna on the top of my car on my garage and it needed repair. I brought it in and discussed the needs with the service advisor. I was told they would do the service, fix the antenna and explore the noise. The car was not making the noise when I brought it in but does make the noise probably 90% of the time I’m driving it. I had also recorded a video of it on my phone and the advisor listened to it. I went and sat in the waiting area. After about an hour the advisor came out to tell me that they could not fix the antenna at the dealership because there is a dent underneath. This is not noticeable at all when I look at the car. He told me I would need to take it to a body shop to get it fixed. This was never mentioned as a possibility when I checked in and it came as a big surprise to me that the dealership would not be able to fix a dent. He told me there was no way they could do it. He said there is a body shop associated with the dealership down the road and if the guy from the body shop happened to walk through he could show it to him. I stated this really wasn’t helpful. I need to have the antenna fixed so it doesn’t fall off the car. He told me I would have to go to a body shop. He did offer halfheatedly to call them for me. I was frustrated that 1) the dealership couldn’t take care of what I brought the car in for and 2) if there is a body shop associated with the dealership I would have anticipated the service advisor would proactively have them look at during the 2 hours I was there so I maybe could have an estimate and be able to make an appointment for service. Instead I was just repeatedly told I should arrange these things. Fine I thought at least I would get the noise fixed. However this was not the case. I was told that the car was not making the noise so there was nothing they could do. This is despite playing the noise and describing the location. I was told I could sit and wait while they listened some more or go out and drive with the tech. It did not appear anyone tried to drive it to listen for the noise. Though I don’t think this matters since it happens at idle as well. I declined the offer since I had already been there two hours and now I was going to have to take another morning off work to go to a body shop. I felt the appointment was basically useless other than the scheduled service which still somehow took almost two hours which is way too long for an oil change and tire rotation. I also felt once I was frustrated by the outcome the adviser became less than helpful giving halfhearted responses and eventually just turned his back on me. It just seems pointless to bring the car back to the dealership if they can’t actually fix it. Also the car wash did not really clean my car. What a waste of time More
