I had a great experience shopping at Bloomington Acura Subaru and working with Dylan Duffy. He made a great effort to vet out what I really wanted, show me some alternatives to what I had in mind, was fle Subaru and working with Dylan Duffy. After my initial visit, test drive, and quotes I returned a few days later to finalize a sale on a 2014 Impreza Sport Limited and am thoroughly satisfied. Aside from the salesmanship and the shiny new ride, the finance department was able to setup a loan that matched what my bank was offering which was very competitive. Overall, I would definitely recommend shopping here. More

Dealership itself was fine. Kind of bummed out at the low offer for my trade - but was able to get a slightly better price after some bargaining. Car was exactly as expected. Acura itself took a long time to offer for my trade - but was able to get a slightly better price after some bargaining. Car was exactly as expected. Yesterday I bought an Acura MDX from salesman Dylan Duffy. In addition I have been a Bloomington Acura customer for many years, just having purchased my 5 th acura. The reason I rate Bloomington Acura and now Dylan Duffy so highly is that Dylan responded right away to my internet request. I found him personable and knowledgeable about the cars. He was not high pressure and treated me with respect. He spent time educating me about the car in an interesting way that made me want to find out more about it. He made himself available every time I had a question and created an atmosphere of ease. He spent as much time as I needed orienting me to the specifics of the car, of which there are many, and has offered to take it in steps so that I can absorb the many details.. My experience couldn't have been better and I know my relationship with Dylan and Acura service will continue to be great. Dylan should be recommended as an example of how to provide a good experience for customers and how to sell cars in a way that keeps someone like me coming back to buy car after car. As a returning customer to Bloomington Acura, and loyal Acura fun (have owned 7 Acuras in the last 10+ years) I didn't feel the customer service and quality of work were not up-to-par with the excellent Acura fun (have owned 7 Acuras in the last 10+ years) I didn't feel the customer service and quality of work were not up-to-par with the excellent treatment I've always received from Acura and from this dealership. It took several days to have my car detailed and clean to look like a brand new car. Additionally the process of getting some accessories for my new vehicle was not as smooth as I was led to believe. The morning of October 15th, I was hit by a school bus while sitting at a stop sign in front of my home. My 2002 Honda Civic was totaled. The prior week on Sunday October 6th my sister's son in Omaha NE while sitting at a stop sign in front of my home. My 2002 Honda Civic was totaled. The prior week on Sunday October 6th my sister's son in Omaha NE was hit and run on his motor cycle 2 blocks from his home. My 86 year father was also in an Omaha hospital fighting a serious infection. I had hoped to go to Omaha to be with my family before my accident. My plans changed quickly! When I notified my sister of my accident, she advised me to look into the Subaru Impreza because they were safe vehicles and AWD. I did test drive one but found out they were in high demand, so immediate inventory was low. Then my sister encouraged me to check out the Subaru Legacy because she has wanted one for years. I took steps to help me decide whether I wanted another Honda Civic or to pursue what was possible with the Subaru. I found that Bloomington Acura Subaru had the larger inventory. I had sent an email to several locations for a quote and Dylan Duffy was the most immediate responsive to my request! Dylan has a way of capturing your attention, he’s genuine and direct. After a short phone conversation, I made a visit the evening of Friday Oct 18th. My 1st encounter was with the receptionist and she was very helpful in having Noah meet with me while I waited for Dylan Duffy. Dylan and I made plans to meet Saturday morning when you open at 8:30am. I spent the day and by 6pm that night, I had my car. I was pleased with my experience from the beginning to the end. Noah, Dylan and Byron were very gracious, personable and professional. They worked with me and helped me in a tough situation. Under these circumstances was not how I had planned to purchase my next new car. Noah & Dylan were kind, very supportive and helpful. For the close of my day Dylan even took time from his family and helped me pare my phone and understand the dash options while his wife was waiting in the parking lot for him! My husband and I bought a new RDX here over labor day weekend and while overall we like the car the service provided by the dealership and in particular the service department has been wretched. Last weekend the side wall of one of the tires blew out. After calling Acura TLC the car was towed to the service department where I had called, as I was instructed, to tell them I was coming in with a flat tire. When I got there and unfortunately I didn't get his name, a very rude employee in a grey sweater told me that since I didn't have an appointment they likely wouldn't be able to help me until at least Monday. I didn't realize that other people schedule their flat tires but apparently at Bloomington Acura-Subaru they do. When I asked if loaner car would be available then because this was the only car I had access to as my husband was out of town he scoffed and said we don't have any of those left. Thankfully the wonderful tow truck driver, Alex, from Bobby and Steve's was still there and shared that since this was only a flat tire they could get me in and out in under 40 minutes. I shared that with my friend in the grey sweater and his response was a condescending "good". After sharing my concerns with Acura Corporate and the General Manager of the dealership, who took several days to even respond. He shared he listed to the "service call recording" and he was sorry that they didn't direct me to come in to the service center. Clearly he didn't even bother to read the email or he would have understood that I was in the service center and that's where the issue occurred. Needless to say we will not be visiting this dealership or service center again as we would rather drive across town and out of our way for service as opposed to having to deal with such poor customer service again. Unfortunately this was a couple hundred dollar lesson that we had to learn. More
