I went to Lundgren Honda in Auburn 3 times between September & October 2019 looking for a 2017 Honda CRV, they didn't have any as I wanted one with leather seats. In November my son in law knew of one September & October 2019 looking for a 2017 Honda CRV, they didn't have any as I wanted one with leather seats. In November my son in law knew of one in Warwick RI at the Mercedes Benz place I went down there and bought a Touring. In Feb 2020 I went in to see the original salesman I had spoken to and he came out to the car and showed me how to make some changes with my settings. I went back to Lundgren on July 15 and 4 men were sitting at the desk I asked to see the man who changed my settings and he was busy. Chuck Shearns asked where I bought the car, never looking up at me and I told him and he said why didn't you go back there or call them and I said it was just a quick question. He told me to sit and wait, he never made eye contact with me, just kept his eyes on what he was doing not looking up at me once. Shortly I believe it was Frank Mazzeo came over and said he'd look at it and he reset my settings in a matter of 2 minutes. I intended to bring it there whenever I needed service/repairs/oil changes but the impression I strongly got was that I should not bring the car into Lundgren for service because I didn't buy it there. My husband had a Honda Civic that was bought somewhere else and brought it to Lundgren for service when it needed anything. I might add I am in my mid 70's and my husband of 55 years died on July 2nd and my dog died July 10th, I visited Lundgren on July 15th. I was already having a difficult time coping and certainly didn't need a man to ask where I bought the car and did I call that dealer about what I needed. Maybe its that I was a woman or that I was a senior citizen. I am so grateful to Mr. Mazzeo for stepping up and helping me! I rated 5 stars for Mr. Mazzeo but I assure you I give the other man no stars at all for Customer service and friendliness he would deserve no stars at all! He humiliated me and made me feel I was so unimportant to even look up at me! More
Very disappointed with our current service with Lundgren, we have purchased several cars through this dealership in the past. Our most recent experience involved seat belt replacement which we were told was we have purchased several cars through this dealership in the past. Our most recent experience involved seat belt replacement which we were told was a straight forward process, initially the wrong part was ordered and then we were told that the repair is going to be $1,000 more than was ever mentioned to us. Excellent service I needed new brakes front and back and an oil change. Whenever I come to the service dept. I have no worries. They are the best. Fixed it MYSELF So after buying my 2016 Honda Fit from Lundgren 11/11/19, I started to notice a clunking in the front end of the car on bumps. I replaced the end link So after buying my 2016 Honda Fit from Lundgren 11/11/19, I started to notice a clunking in the front end of the car on bumps. I replaced the end links myself hoping that would stop the noise, it didn't. I contacted them about 2 weeks later. I went to Lundgren Honda of Greenfield because it was closer to me. Of course they found a REAR strut bad, replaced it, but according the them they heard nothing up front, the service manager said "Maybe I heard that noise resonating up front" I don't think so... Then said "I don't want to call the Fit an inferior product, but they are an economy car, and you get what you get". They said they aren't going to throw parts at it if there's no problem. I emailed Auburn and the service manager there, Dan( who never even came out to greet me or anything), said bring it in so they can look at it. As usual, they made it seem like I was crazy, or hearing things, and said "that's how the car is designed". So I said forget Lundgren, they are useless, apparently the "warranty" is a joke there. I bought new KYB struts, all new genuine Honda parts and replaced the struts, mount bushings, strut bearings, and upper mount rebound bushings. Well now the car has NO NOISE!!!! NO clunking, it's completely normal... The bushings were worn, and the strut bearings had a LOT of play in both. Yet, I guess I'm just being "nit picky". They said the "master tech's" at both dealerships looked/drove the car, and found nothing. I guess I should apply as a master technician, because I did the work myself(went to school for automotive), and I fixed the problem myself. So I paid $580 out of my own pocket for something that should have been warrantied. Never again would I buy so much as a wiper blade form them.... More
