No problem setting an appointment to have the 70k service. Annie went over what to expect and how long it would take Car was ready before I anticipated it being ready. I asked for a service sche service. Annie went over what to expect and how long it would take Car was ready before I anticipated it being ready. I asked for a service schedule which she printed out. A very simple guide to when I should bring it in and what would be done at future visits. Everyone there seemed happy to help. Clean and comfortable areas to wait. Impressed with quiet separate lounge/office area. The service area is very neat and clean. More
This jerk talked to us like we were toddlers, went back on the word of our original salesman who was "sick" the 3rd evening we went back to actually purchase the vehicle, was very condescending, and then s on the word of our original salesman who was "sick" the 3rd evening we went back to actually purchase the vehicle, was very condescending, and then sent some female "manager" out to berate us for actually believing what our original salesperson told us. If you cannot train a salesperson to know the about the products they are selling, then you can feign ignorance instead of admitting to deceitful pratices, and you probably should not be in business. Disgusting. More
I had scheduled an oil change over Thanksgiving weekend while I was up in Massachusetts. While at the Honda dealership, my girlfriend and I became interested in the new Honda CR-V. We’ve been wanting somet while I was up in Massachusetts. While at the Honda dealership, my girlfriend and I became interested in the new Honda CR-V. We’ve been wanting something bigger. “Yes sir”, “oh no problem sir”, “don’t you worry sir“…you know. The problem started when they realized I didn’t have a NY State driver’s license. So they come up with the plan that first thing Monday morning, they would drive the car to my neck of the woods, register it, and give it to me. Monday came and went. I’ll spare the details but they lied a bunch. Something about NY state rules vs NY city rules, which ended up being completely made up. Tuesday went. Wednesday came. “I’ll leave at 9:30 in the morning sir, don’t you worry”. 11:00 came. After all these lies they had told me about DMV this, documentation that, I decided to call the NY DMV myself and see what I had to do. After the very helpful man (though very retarded phone menu system) talked me through what I’d need to do, I called the dealership, told them to deliver my car at this moment to my front door, and I’d take it from there getting the car registered. “Right away sir”. They wanted me to drive to Albany. They wanted me to fax them copies of my passport and social security card. They told me that I had to be their in person, then they told me I didn’t need to be there in person (I needed to be). They told me I needed to pay 5% MA state tax, then the difference (3.83%) to NY state (wrong). All-in-all, I purchased the car Friday and was told I’d have it first thing Monday morning. What I did receive however (besides the car 6 days late), was a plate full of incompetence and a side-dish of lies. In the end I had to meet the guy on I-95 on the Connecticut border because “He’s an old man with a sick wife”. Two weeks later I noticed $908 missing from my checking account. The took the money out without authorization from me (they had my credit card number from the down payment) because I owed them the difference of the NY registration and what they had originally charged me for registration. No phone call, no letter or bill for $908. They straight took it out of my account with no notice. I called my bank but all they could do was report it as fraud and I'd end up with a new debit card...I'd still owe the 908 so there's no point in that. These guys are liars. Seriously. More
Multiple promises to call with status of vehicle without following through. The only time dealer called me was to get permission to start this expensive job... after that I had to initiate EVERY phone call. following through. The only time dealer called me was to get permission to start this expensive job... after that I had to initiate EVERY phone call. And there were many. Even when told I will call you back in one hour... nothing after three, so I had to call. This is just one example. This one day job turned into 6 days. Service advisor was not friendly at all. She even pissed off my wife, which is pretty hard to do. Just took my car in today for more work - but it was not to Lundgren Honda. They should be ashamed. More
I strongly recommend Lundgren Honda to everyone. With the internet offering plenty of pricing info (MSRP, Invoice, & "What people are paying in your area"), I had a reasonable markup price in mind for the Odyssey EXLR&N we wanted and Lundgren came back below that number. Also, I was pleased to find that Lundgren extends the Powertrain warranty among other incentives. When we told neighbors and a local mechanic we were ready to buy but wanted to find the right dealership, they all said Lundgren (We are new to this area). Lundgren was willing to work with me in detail on my purchase. I specified that I wanted the Odyssey EXLR&N Silver w/dark grey interior with less that 10 mi. on the odometer. In less than 2 weeks, our vehicle was delivered to the dealership, wrapped in plastic in and out with 6 miles on it. I was completely satisfied. The Service Dept. is well-maintained and appears to be well-staffed. The waiting area is exceptionally acommodating...though I am hoping I don't spend much time in there. More
Try them yourself. At first I did not believe the claims of "no pressure" and "great deals" but my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the whole process. My car was ready on time and all the equipment w of "no pressure" and "great deals" but my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the whole process. My car was ready on time and all the equipment was installed as promised. We enjoyed working with Christine, the sales manager, her professionalism and her obvious concern for our needs was greatly appreciated. We also had the opportunity to use the service department on two occasions and the experience was just as good, Jamie was wonderful. More
The Lundgren team seem very caring, friendly and sincere up until the deal has been made and then you're just another sale. Christine Comeau would say/do anything in order to make the deal. I'm from NY and up until the deal has been made and then you're just another sale. Christine Comeau would say/do anything in order to make the deal. I'm from NY and asked Lundgren's if it would be a problem to register my new Accord in NY. They stated, "not a problem. we've done it many times before." Well, they lost or forgot the NYS inspection sticker required by NYS law in order to drive the vehicle. They really didn't seem to care because they had already received their money. They were also going to pocket the left over registration fee of about $60 which I had to hound them for. If you want a good deal on a Honda and don't care about being treated nicely, then go to Boch Honda. I DO NOT recommend Lundgren Honda for anything. More
I'd always been a happy Lundgren customer - until Dec 21. I don't buy cars often (I have a 98 Accord) because I don't have to. I've owned only Honda and Acura cars since 1979, and love them. I've had a new H I don't buy cars often (I have a 98 Accord) because I don't have to. I've owned only Honda and Acura cars since 1979, and love them. I've had a new Honda dealer only two miles from my house, but continued to drive the 25 mile round trip to Lundgren because I was happy with their service. This may sound picky to most, but when I picked up my car after having had $1,398.78 of service work last Wednesday, the car hadn't even been washed. I always go to Lundgren Service, and have had over $3,000 of service there in the past year, as well as a $3,000+ auto-body job at their "collision center". When I told John I was surprised the car hadn't been washed, he told me he couldn't break the dealership policy of no car washes. I expressed concern for their business - surely they made exceptions for large service jobs, good customers, or as a marketing tactic to keep people from trying their new competition. I got a "nope". I even called the dealership that night and left a voice mail for one of the Lundgren brothers that own the dealership - no return phone call. I guess they don't care. Lundgren gave me a reason to try Ragsdale Honda, and I'm going to try them. More
We just bought our fourth new Honda from Lundgren, and now have to drive past a new Honda dealership to do so. We have had very good luck with Hondas and love the cars, but continue to buy them as much to now have to drive past a new Honda dealership to do so. We have had very good luck with Hondas and love the cars, but continue to buy them as much to do business with Lundgren as for the cars themselves. There are no games at Lundgren with their no haggle sales. There is no pressure from courteous sales people who bend over backwards to accommodate the customer. We also have our cars serviced regularly at Lundgren. The work is accomplished in a timely and professional manner while you either drive away in a loaner car, get driven to an appointment, or relax and read in their customer lounge while you enjoy a breakfast "on the house." In our experience, there is just no comparison to other dealers. More

This has given me opportunity to deal with a lots of car dealers (Honda, Toyota, Ford, GM, Nissan, and Chrysler) in different part of the United States. I used this dealership for servicing my Honda Accord 2000 in year 2000 and 2001. Now, I live in California and use different dealership to get the same car serviced.

Lundgren Honda is perhaps the best car dealership in United States in my opinion. Very professional, courteus and upfront what they do. In my experience, only car dealer where the sales guys are trained to be polite and leave a customer alone to think. Quite unlike the dreaded experience at some other dealerships where salesman will apply all kind of pressure techniques and gimmicks to "close" a deal with you. I think they have no haggle policy when you purchase a car from them (I didn't buy car from there as I didn't know about them till I took my car for the first service there after moving in the area. But, several of my friends baught from them, and it was a very pleasant experience every time.). In addition, I think they extend manaufacturer's warranty by another year or so in the price.

There service room is very comfortable. They even supply you breakfast (free bagels, and coffees etc.) in the morning. And the best part is they wash your car after every service - something that I have not seen at any other dealer in any part of the country. I will whole heatedly recommend (though I left the area and state in 2002.) This is one business that left a permanent impression on me what a good dealership can be.

More
