Everything you could want in a car buying experience! I had initially visited Lunde's VW for service on my 2012 Jetta, not with the intention of driving away in a new vehicle (although, I am thrilled for I had initially visited Lunde's VW for service on my 2012 Jetta, not with the intention of driving away in a new vehicle (although, I am thrilled for that outcome). While waiting for the service to be taken care of, I decided to browse the new models and see features, price points, etc. As I was looking outside, a sales consultant named Chip came out to greet me. We spoke about my visit and service on my current vehicle, and new models, trading in, and so on. He inquired of my wants and needs and proceeded to show me the new 2016 Jetta Sport that was in the showroom. He was very thorough in his explanation of features, and gave some great advice based on some of the things I would want in a new vehicle, but he was not at all pushy or aggressive. He was exceptionally informative with regards to leasing a vehicle, which is something I had been researching, but did not know all of the advantages/disadvantages. He took me out on the lot and we checked out the different options of colors and models and I fell in love with the Sport Jetta in red. The financing department was great as well, helping with the trade in process and getting me a reasonable payment for my new car. Chip did a great job helping me before and after the sale, setting up the navigation and other systems for me. I will highly recommend him and Lunde's VW to anyone thinking about buying a new VW, or just a new car in general. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and I love my new car! More

I called Lunde’s Peoria VW for a second opinion on an intermittent issue - check light indicator – when my previously trusted VW dealership couldn’t fix or recreate the issue. Getting an appointment on the same day was a breeze (surprise #1) and I specifically asked for Chris based on his reviews on dealer rater. As I was driving to the dealership the check engine light came on! (Surprise #2). This was unpleasant as I had just finished servicing my 2013 VW Passat TDI at the other dealership 3 days back. I met Chris at the service station. After patiently listening to my car troubles he immediately got on top of the task and asked me to wait for an hour. When I expressed my dissatisfaction over the long wait he patiently explained that they need to hook the car up to the computer and that the analysis took time. While I was waiting for the car to be "un-hooked" , I ambled around the tastefully decorated dealership and met Miguel from the sales team. Miguel and I had a pleasant chat about VWs, TDIs and how the European Passats look way cooler than their American counterparts. In all of the 20 minutes that we conversed, Miguel never threw a curve ball sales pitch at me (Surprise #3). All this was happening at about 4:30pm and I wasn’t sure if the problem would be fixed on the same day. Sure enough, at about 5:15 Chris came over and explained that they needed another day to fix the issue - a pump that regulates the engine temperature had blown. We discussed some options and Chris helped me find a loaner (surprise #4) to get back home. We spoke briefly about when the car would be ready and I parted with my best contact number. Next day when Chris called me , I casually asked him if he could fill Nitrogen in the tires. He agreed. When I picked my car up at the appointed time, Chris surprised me again (If you are still counting - surprise #5 !) by waiving the cost of the tire caps and the effort of filling the nitrogen. If you have read this far, the following statement shouldnt surprise you - I'm never visiting any other VW dealership in Phoenix. Never. Lunde's VW have earned another lifetime customer. PS: I have already recommended this family owned dealership to my friends. Lunde's peoria VW is a place where attention to detail and customer satisfaction are not just words but a way of life. Reliable service quality I have been taking my Saturn to this service center for years because it used to be a Saturn dealership. When it changed ownership to Lunde's, they st I have been taking my Saturn to this service center for years because it used to be a Saturn dealership. When it changed ownership to Lunde's, they still serviced my car with the same friendliness and professionalism that I had expected from Saturn. Because Lunde's is popular, they can get quite busy. I have learned to take my car in during less busy times, then you get the most personalized attention. Even when they are busy they still give you personalized attention, but it's more likely for miscommunication to happen during busy times. I have made it a habit to ask plenty of questions and doublecheck with them at the end of the service that everything was completed as discussed. My most recent visit was to repair the AC for my 14 year old Saturn SC1. I was hoping it would be a minor repair but turned out the compressor was leaking and needed replacing. Not bad considering my car endured 14 years of AZ hot weather. The service consultant Chris was very detailed in explaining additional repairs that needed to be done, according to Lewis the auto technician. Chris was also very patient with answering my numerous questions. There was a crack in the intake manifold so it needed replacing. Not a cheap repair either, but if it didn't get fixed the leak it caused could damage the engine. Chris even showed me the crack in that piece. He took me back to my car and I met Lewis who seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. He has 28 years experience, as do most of the technicians at Lunde's, between 10-30 years on average. I trust my car is in good hands here. They do not try to talk you into doing any repairs you cannot afford but will advise you as to the priority and consequences of making or not making the repairs. Other repairs needed were a tune up, replacing the spark plugs, which can be done another time so I could break up the total expense. Also Chris lent me a Jetta to drive home because my car needed to stay overnight and would be completed the following day, which they did complete the work within the timeframe discussed. I rated them average in regards to service charges, because for a dealership it's not too bad but they do charge approximately $110/hour. I researched other dealerships and car repair shops - the average for Phoenix is between $80-125/hr or more. Because I trust the Lunde auto technicians who have repaired or maintained my car successfully for many years and my car has been holding up well all these years, I don't mind paying a little extra so they can make a decent salary from their work. Plus I got a 15% discount from a special they were offering for cars over $100K miles. So I saved $250. That discount helped out tremendously. You can also sign up as a Savings Card member for free and get 10% discounts on service and parts up to $1,000. Overall I have been very pleased with Lunde's service and that's why I continue to take my car there for its maintenance. More
I have one complaint and it is with the service dept. I went in to get some touch-up paint while waiting for my for my Jetta to be serviced and they were sold out. The woman at the counter said she was ordering my color and would call me when it arrived, but it has been 3 weeks and still waiting, no call. Not to mention I live over 50 miles away from your dealership and dropping by is a bit of out of my way.... So, what to do? go to another dealership for my paint?
