So I recently went on a mission to find my daughter her first vehicle. I am adamently against car salesmen because they are dishonest and decieving. (living with one for about 8 years taught me that ) She found a couple that she liked online so off we go...the first was at Lunde's VW in Peoria, AZ. I explained to the salesmen he was trying to sell to my ONLY daughter and that it was important that he treat her like she was his own. After test drving the vehicle it ran good but smelled funny afterwards so he said he would have his repair department look into it before he would let her buy it. (Surprise) We went to other dealers (whole other story of typical salesmen for another day) and didn't find anything worth buying. The salesmen Phillip Vigarino, called to say there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. ( suspicious but ok ) She bought the car and they even had us in and out of the dealership within 50 minutes (Brad was amazing, impressed). About 2 weeks later we noticed the heater didn't work and took it to my mechanic, $1000 repair to fix the heater ( xxxx no ) Called Phillip and told him I was not happy, he said to bring the vehicle back to the dealer and he would have his repair people look at it. (ok thats a start) After a few minutes waiting Phillip came back to say that they would fix it!! (Ok now I'm not sure I would go anywhere else), however now hes offering her a loaner car while they keep hers (Ok now I'm hooked) The vehicle runs great, looks great, it ended up being a perfect experience for her. I highly recommend Phillip Vigarino at Lunde's Peoria Volkswagon on Bell rd in Peoria if you are looking for a new or used vehicle. I wouldn't go anywhere else! More
I found the vehicle online, so dealt with Bennet on that end, then with Daniel when I got down to actually make the deal. Everything went well, although I felt that Bennet might have made up the sudden phone call and appointment they supposedly set up to view the vehicle I was interested in the next day...I was very serious about the vehicle, so didn't need to be pushed into committing to it just to beat someone else out of it. It had been online for at least a week, so I found it hard to believe that all of a sudden I was 'competing' with someone else for it. When I was at the dealership, Daniel also used that strategy by casually mentioning that they had several calls on that particular vehicle just that morning. I seriously doubt that was true either, and it certainly didn't sway my decision in any way, just made me think they were typical car salespeople only interested in making the sale! During the financing part, he (don't remember his name) was not told any of the details in advance(my down payment, the $100 Yahoo discount, etc.), even though I had paid to hold the vehicle, but finally got it straightened out and signed the papers. I did feel slightly pressured to sign quickly without thoroughly reading the contract, and was quite dismayed later when I read the contract and saw the $399 Dealer's Documentary Service Fee, which he conveniently skipped right over without mentioning during the signing, and which I find an extreme fee for filling out some paperwork! Other than that, the car seems to be running well and I am pleased with my purchase. More
I'm torn. They weren't too interested in selling me a Routan but I bought one the same day, different dealer. They are nice though and probably good to deal with if they take you seriously enough. This is my 4TH, dealer purchased, VW in about a decade and I usually take my service to camelback vw but will give this service department a shot because it's easier for me to get to. Only issue I had with staff was with Xavier who wouldn't tell me anything (I asked if a certain Routan was still available) without getting my number to call me. More
Being a first time car buyer I was a bit nervous after hearing so many horror stories about friends and family horrible experiences. I found the car I was looking for on Auto-Trader and contacted Peoria Volkswagen. They were quick to respond and were able to get the deal done smoothly. I am a recent grad with sub-par credit yet, they were able to qualify me through Volkswagen College grad program. Phil was awesome and made the whole transaction run smoothly even during a hectic time being that it was the holiday's as well as the end of the year. Bennet was always willing to help me when Phil was not available and was very accommodating during my time at the dealership. After the sales part was taken care of I had the pleasure of meeting Brad who was a finance manager. He had me in and out in a few minutes. Though he let me know about all the extra products i.e, insurance, warranties, etc; I never felt pressured or forced to purchase anything I wasn't comfortable in obtaining. All in all I'm glad I did business with Peoria Volkswagen. Though there are three Volkswagen dealerships between my house and them it was worth the travel. They have a customer for life as well as my sincere recommendations to whomever I encounter wanting to purchase a vehicle. More
Our friend, Mark Miller works at this dealership, and went in with us on his day off to make sure we found suitable cars, and were taken care of. We sure were taken care of! After we found 2 used cars, Mark introduced us to Jeff Leovic, who took care of every detail. He even touched up a few scuff marks on my toyota. We bought 2 used cars that day, and he went over details of the operation of both vehicles. Jeff then sent us over to Brad Thompson to handle the financing. He was also very friendly, and efficient. The dealership also talked to us about ways that they provide excellent service to the cars after the purchase. I would highly recommend this dealership. Everyone was friendly, and customer service oriented. The next time I am looking for a new or used car, I would look to Lunde Peoria Volkswagon first. More
Ty was awesome, but Brad was very short with me when I asked about pricing details. I had gone through my credit union for a used car loan and needed Brad to send some documents (with my details as well a asked about pricing details. I wrote down my email address and he did not type it in right. A few days later I received a call from a gentleman in Oregon saying that his daughter was receiving the information that was meant for me. I'm glad my SSN wasn't on there, but I was very upset that not only did Brad give me the cold shoulder when having to deal with me, but he also messed up and sent my personal information to someone else's email when I wrote mine down as clear as day. I was never notified by the dealership, only the gentleman from Oregon. Ty and Bennet were really amazing though. I would recommend this dealership to anyone! Just avoid Brad... More
