Chip Rooney did a wonderful job of learning my needs and explaining the vehicle to me. He kept a friendly communication with no pressure as I made the decision to purchase. They even came to pick me up from my home to finish the paperwork. I love the fact that the pricing is upfront and haggle free. No hidden charges or strong arm tactics to buy pointless add-on's. The finance department worked very hard to get me the rate and payment that I desired. I wanted the next to impossible and may have been a bit irrational but they treated me respectfully and made the deal happen! They had 2 identical models to choose from with only the color being different. The financing process was a breeze and everything was squared away and finished in a very short period of time. David in finance was incredible and my sales person Chip was awesome. The delivery was thorough and Chip made sure I was oriented to all the features of the car and made sure I met the Service Manager as well. There was never any pressure and the price I paid was an exceptional deal. These guys have the great car buying experience down pat! More

I called Lunde’s Peoria VW for a second opinion on an intermittent issue - check light indicator – when my previously trusted VW dealership couldn’t fix or recreate the issue. Getting an appointment on the same day was a breeze (surprise #1) and I specifically asked for Chris based on his reviews on dealer rater. As I was driving to the dealership the check engine light came on! (Surprise #2). This was unpleasant as I had just finished servicing my 2013 VW Passat TDI at the other dealership 3 days back. I met Chris at the service station. After patiently listening to my car troubles he immediately got on top of the task and asked me to wait for an hour. When I expressed my dissatisfaction over the long wait he patiently explained that they need to hook the car up to the computer and that the analysis took time. While I was waiting for the car to be "un-hooked" , I ambled around the tastefully decorated dealership and met Miguel from the sales team. Miguel and I had a pleasant chat about VWs, TDIs and how the European Passats look way cooler than their American counterparts. In all of the 20 minutes that we conversed, Miguel never threw a curve ball sales pitch at me (Surprise #3). All this was happening at about 4:30pm and I wasn’t sure if the problem would be fixed on the same day. Sure enough, at about 5:15 Chris came over and explained that they needed another day to fix the issue - a pump that regulates the engine temperature had blown. We discussed some options and Chris helped me find a loaner (surprise #4) to get back home. We spoke briefly about when the car would be ready and I parted with my best contact number. Next day when Chris called me , I casually asked him if he could fill Nitrogen in the tires. He agreed. When I picked my car up at the appointed time, Chris surprised me again (If you are still counting - surprise #5 !) by waiving the cost of the tire caps and the effort of filling the nitrogen. If you have read this far, the following statement shouldnt surprise you - I'm never visiting any other VW dealership in Phoenix. Never. Lunde's VW have earned another lifetime customer. PS: I have already recommended this family owned dealership to my friends. Lunde's peoria VW is a place where attention to detail and customer satisfaction are not just words but a way of life.
