This was by far the best experience while trying to purchase a vehicle i have ever encountered. Chris Maner was super professional yet had a friendly neighbor or old friend character about him. He looked the parts of a sales man but acted that of a good man just trying to help and get a job done. He was extremely polite and attentive. I will never go to another salesman for as long as i can help it. He will be the one i point all my firends and family to. The way he handled our business tells me a lot about who he is outside of work and its nice to know we have someone out there like him who doesnt take on the typical stereo type Sales Man persona. My spouse and I went through some terrible times during which our credit was pretty much destroyed.. we have been struggling to get it back up to where it once was. My husbands credit was Superior at one point but life happened. Most Dealers we encountered after the credit scores dropped would brush us off and make us feel we were unworthy of a safe and affordable vehicle. Just plain rude and SUPER SUPER pushy. Over the top PUSHY. Originally Chris Maner was trying to get me in a RAV4... my first pick -only be.c i thought it would be my best bet. Chris tried but was unable to do it. He did however, come up with a vehicle that i fell in love with. A 07 Toyota Sienna I have 3 children. 8 Nephews... I love taking them all to the parks and out to movies and what not.... I loved the space. I need a SAFE vehicle. I reliable vehicle. The color (Sky blue) is my all time favorite color. Although it is used - it had only one owner. The ONLY down fall was the mileage but I know Toyotas are build to last. My first vehicle was an 86 toyota corolla passed to me by my mother. So it really isnt that big of a deal. 67k is fine w me. The previous owner seemed to have taken very well care of the vehicle and the fact she/he brought it back to a Toyota Dealer tells me she may have traded it in for Another Toyota vehicle - which in my eyes is always a good sign. My favorite about the vehicle... other than saftey features - it has a mirror that drops down and i can see everything so clearly in the back seats. This is awesome for when the older two are pulling eachothers hair or more importanly - i can keep an eye on the little one and feel at ease she is okay back there. The trunk space alone can fit all of our belongings when we travel to NC and NJ to visit family. I also dealt with Allen - he tried desperatly to get us at a payment we could afford. Although I do not trust most dealers when they say " I have done all i could" - i actually believed Allen when he said it. He was professional and friendly. Trevor was extrememly professional and laughed at my jokes - funny or not - he gets huge kudos for that alone. He made the closing simple and fast. Ralph - good Ralph was not in our dealings w the purchase but he kept my 20 mth old in awe and occupied. She rarely goes to strangers but he had such a sweet touch to him she couldnt help herself. He was so kind and kept putting me at ease when he saw i was stressing be/c my other 2 (9 and 8) were going a little nutto - or when Ri my 20 mth old kept walking in the finance office to be nosy..lol He could have gone off and did something else to occupy his time but he didnt... he helped me, us. and my kiddos are everything to me so when your sweet to my kiddos and remind me they are kids and they do what they do - and it is okay... it kind of leaves a mark. All in all - Lugoff Toyota was amazing. They did what they could do and although our payment was much higher than inticipated - that was our fault not theirs and in the long run - w the gas money we save - the drop in insurance cost we save..... it'll be okay. And the Saftey of this vehicle is better than any other car i have owned. Thank you Toyota in Lugoff - I hope this review gets you something.. you guys deserve an award. :o) Hopefully once we get all our finances in order in the future - my husband will be back for that Toyota Tacoma! lOL.. We actually bought our first toyota at this very car dealership. We did not have a very good impression when it came to the maintenance part of it when it was under a different management. We had some issues with the cruise control and never could get it corrected. So we never came back until now. We were looking for a particular car and I went online and saw that your dealership had several on the lot. I called and talked to Wally and then to Ralph. Both were very kind and helpful so I thought we would give you another chance. So far, I'm glad we did. Everything has gone very smoothly and quickly. Everyone was very nice and professional. We even stopped by unannounced the other day because we could not figure out the bluetooth with our phones. Wally came out to the car in the rain and showed us how it worked. So we are very pleased with the service so far from your dealership and glad that we gave you another chance. Thank You!!! More
I found a car I was interested online and inquired. Ralph Harper answered all my questions very quickly by phone, e-mail, and text. Did most everything by phone or online. With a small deposit they held the car for 4 days until I could travel the 3 hours to see it. As soon as we got there, Ralph had the keys and we were able to take the car out for a test drive. It was just as described both good and bad. Everyone was very nice, explained all my options. When the warranty prices didn't work for me, they came up with a shorter and cheaper version so it would all fit into my budget. Two family members who came with me plan on working with Ralph to find them a used car. Worth the trip, I would definitely recommend this dealer. More
In the market for a used car, went to this dealer for a listing on the Internet. Said car had a blown motor, start looking at the other vehicles at the lot. Found a 2002 Mazda in very good condition with a listing on the Internet. Said car had a blown motor, start looking at the other vehicles at the lot. Inquire about the light with little feedback except "we'll check with the service writer, how much will it take for you to drive away with it today?". They continued to beat around the bush until I demanded to know what the codes were. Chris (I believe his name was) tells me that it was an o2 sensor. I tell them we are not buying this car untill I know exactly what is wrong with it. The tech scans the code and come to find it was an evap leak. The salesman directly LIED to my face to get us to buy this car. Honestly how can you trust someone/someplace that will directly lie to their customers in order to make a sale. Beware to anyone that buys a car from this place to know your facts and do not settle for the bs these sales people will give you, they only care about a sale not your well being. More

THE BEST CAR PURCHASING EXPERIENCE. And I really mean it. It started with e-mail inquiry to get our new van. Mr. Debruhl replied back in less then 8 hours and followed up with phone call. Whole experience (selecting color, interior , optional package) was great and Mr. Debruhl help at each step was exceptional. They have to get this vehicle from other place and once they got the vehicle, not only Mr. Debruhl delivered to our door step but took time to give us step by step demo of all the features. It is now two weeks and Mr. Debruhl has called us twice to check on us. I have become a big fan of Lugoff Toyota and Mr. Debruhl. Alicia worked closely with me for 6 weeks, searching all over the Southeast until I was able to drive away in the exact vehicle I wanted. I did comparison shop to make sure I was getting a good deal, and Lugoff beat everyone else hands-down. Alicia is honest as the day is long, and she exceeded my expectations for service throughout the sale. It was definitely worth the 2 hour drive from Spartanburg for me to be able to get what I wanted from someone who I trust, for a price that was more than fair. More
