It is also quite rare to have a dealership experienc It is unfortunate that all too often negative reviews are the only posts people bother to write. It is also quite rare to have a dealership experience where you walk away saying, "Wow, this dealership has gone above and beyond the call", particularly in the used car industry. Lucky Motors is one of the most accommodating used car dealerships I have EVER experienced in 52 years on this planet and, for the record, I am a tough, experienced and educated customer when I am in the market to buy. When signing a used car contract, most often it will read 'PURCHASED AS-IS' meaning you are buying it with any and all blemishes, problems and defects that it currently has. At Lucky Motors, although you do sign the 'AS-IS', this is not how they treat their customers. My salesman Robert was not only respectful, friendly, courteous and kind but went out of his way every step of the process to earn my business and make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. The manager Andy was phenomenally helpful and went beyond the extra mile to earn my business AND my trust in them as business men of integrity. Chuck the service manager was not only honest and professional (as were all of them) but also went the extra mile to make sure I walked away a satisfied customer. I have had many experiences with 'used car salesman' who have earned the negative stereotype associated with such a title. However, Lucky Motors has earned my trust in their practical application of professionalism, customer care, fair & honest business practices and integrity. There are no 'slick fast eddy' techniques here...just straight up honesty, integrity,and kind, professional care in doing business with these men. They want you to come back again, and they invest in that throughout the process. Thank you gentlemen for a rare and extraordinary car buying experience. More
Sold the car after I left a deposit I put a deposit on a car thinking they would honor it, But these people sold the car while I was working with my bank. My dream MINI! I'd been on the prowl for a Mini Cooper for such a long time; finally found a few possibilities and drove ~8 hours to Chicago to look at a few at the I'd been on the prowl for a Mini Cooper for such a long time; finally found a few possibilities and drove ~8 hours to Chicago to look at a few at the Mini of Chicago dealership. Ended up crushed that every one I had my eyes on sold (they'd failed to update their website or answer their phones)...the salesperson there was otherwise rather unhelpful. ANYWAY, exhausted after trying to navigate a foreign city, Lucky Motors was my last stop before I would have thrown in the towel and I'm SO HAPPY I went! Found my perfect Mini, was generously fed steak kebabs (it was labor day after all), everyone I interacted with was lighthearted and friendly. Mike, who I worked with, was super knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with -- it's clear he really knows and loves cars, so I don't think this is really "work" for him. The whole transaction went smoothly and I drove away happier than I've been in some time. Mike also texted me the next day to wish me a happy birthday and make sure I still loved my car (YESSS!). That, to me, is just awesome customer service. Thanks again!!!!! More
very poor customer service I purchased a 2007 BMW 328i for my son. I was told this car was in perfect condition. I live in Buffalo NY. I let them know I was a little uneasy buying a car sight unseen. I explained this was for my son who is going off to college. The salesman (Roy) told me.."we put it thru our service center and couldn't find one thing wrong with it".. We agreed on a price.. the car showed up. I start the car.. the check engine light is on, all 4 tire monitor lights were on and the brake light. Also, the radio didn't work. I immediately called Roy, who would not answer or call back. I call Andy (sales manager) he says take it in and let me know. I take it in and find out it does not pass inspection and the radio needs a new amplifier. I let Andy know.. he says.. sorry bud.. we cant help you. You never specifically asked if the radio worked. We don't check the radio.. its not part of our inspection. I then called and asked for Chris Wright (owner).. he never returned my call. More

I ended up with Mike Salerno a straight to the point salesperson who values your time. I appreciated how professional Mike was at the same time he has a pleasant personality. Unfortunately I forgot that I cosigned years ago for a relative and so the deal that we wanted to strike didn't come in fruition. Mike however was again very nice he didn't make me feel like I was wasting his time. Theres just a few things I need to tweak such as getting my name off as a cosigner. Once I have everything in order I will certainly reach out to Mike. Also, Mike reassured me that when I was ready he would be more than willing to work with me. Ignore the negative feedback they are BBB ACCREDITED and they sit amongst other lots that are competing for business go in for yourself and of course ask for Mike. More
2013 Boss Mustang Might be the most unpleasant car buying experience I have had in 40 years. I found this car on Autotrader with 7,252 miles on the odometer. Price was fair and my discussions with Will Perfetti, in sales described the car as "near perfect," "tip-top shape," "always garaged," etc. From the very first online discussion I asked that this car, if purchased, be shipped in an "enclosed" trailer. This added price for shipping was $600. When this car arrived in late February it had been shipped across two state in the middle of a blizzard in an "open" trailer. It was covered in salt, sand and road debris from nose to tail-it was a mess. This "nearly perfect" car had 37 chips out of the paint and striping all on the driver's side indicative of the haul. When Will called to ask how I liked the car on the following Monday, I related the condition of the car and expressed my dismay that my request for an enclosed trailer had been ignored. He said "he would get back to me." I then took the car to my local Ford dealership to get an estimate of repairs which came to $2,958.74. After two weeks of no contact by Lucky Motors (LM) personnel, I called and ask for the sales manager Dan Djovic. When I told him about the problem, he asked if I had pictures of the damages-which I did. I sent Dan a letter, the pictures and the cost estimate for the repairs. Again, no response. For five months now I have been trying to settle this issue with phone calls, emails and online chats and all I get now is more "we'll get back to you." Will and Dan, both wanted to cast the blame on the shipper, but the shipper was their vendor, not mine, and my shipping instructions were "completely" ignored. This is a problem that LM is responsible for and yet they are ignoring any accountability. I even went as far to say that they could have the car back-no response. I have never had such a poor experience with any dealership in my lifetime. At best they misrepresented this vehicle, or at the worst they stuck a perfectly beautiful car into the middle of a snowstorm-a sad statement either way you look at it. As their sales pitch says "We'll ship anywhere in the world." Just be careful or your car could end up looking like Mayhem mowing through the pea gravel in the State Farm commercial. More
