I bought my 2001 GTS, 22348 m., at this dealership, sight unseen (I know, I know, I spent one or two sleepless nights before it arrived at my door). I thought I would report on my experience. On the negativ unseen (I know, I know, I spent one or two sleepless nights before it arrived at my door). I thought I would report on my experience. On the negative side, the car arrived without a spare tire, a spare tire hold down assembly, a key transmitter, and an owner's manual (found everything on eBay or at the Dodge dealership). I have asked the dealership for reimbursement for these items, so far no response. I'll post a correction if I receive a check. The chrome wheels have a bit of curb rash. On the positive side, the car came fully detailed, engine bay and trunk spotless. The paint is perfect, the interior too. The audio is not stock, and so are the white stripes. Mechanically, as far as I know, it is also beyond reproach in all respects. It drives perfectly. The Michelin Pilot have at least 10.000 miles of life left on them. The price of $38.000 seemed fair to me, given the car's good shape and its rarity (1 of 21 2001 reds with Connolly leather; this exactly the car I wanted, my two boys are enchanted by the aftermarket white stripes). I passed the LA inspection after the computer had reset itself with no problem. So I have mixed feelings about the dealership: I would probably deal with them again if I could inspect the car myself. For work reasons, it was impossible, and I certainly couldn't have driven the car back to Louisiana through the January blizzard. Not a cent from the dealership for the necessary extras (key transmitter, spare tire, owners manual). They gave me $300 for a double gash (2 feet in the rocker panel). Charged me for an nonexistent temporary driver's permit. Buyer beware! More
I recently purchased an '05 used car with low miles through ebay from this dealership, which was long distance and shipped across country, but had talked to them on a few occasions beforehand. Despite through ebay from this dealership, which was long distance and shipped across country, but had talked to them on a few occasions beforehand. Despite assurances of being "extremely clean" and a great car, it arrived with unbelievable curb rash on wheels and unsafe tires, which all required replacement, as well as horribly scratched windshield from wipers being used without a blade. Clean certainly didn't apply to the inside either. Despite being sold as having been fully detailed, the car hadn't even been vacuumed of all the hair, nor all the dried-on coffee/coke on the dash & cupholder even wiped. Further, they charged for things not delivered, like a temporary driving permit, and refused to refund the money. Friendly thieves. Stereotypical used car salesmen. More
They sold me a car with major accident. I assumed that it had clean car fax because I bought the previous car with clean car fax. I had purchased SLK 350 before with clean carfax, but when I traded in fo had clean car fax because I bought the previous car with clean car fax. I had purchased SLK 350 before with clean carfax, but when I traded in for SLK55 AMG, they did not tell me it had an accident. The price is not cheap. There are better dealers in terms of price. More
I purchased a Mazda RX-8 from Wilkins. The price was great, I shopped around quite a bit and this dealer by far had the best price and selection. Their price was under what edmunds.com showed as the TMV great, I shopped around quite a bit and this dealer by far had the best price and selection. Their price was under what edmunds.com showed as the TMV price. I also had a great experience with the sales people. They were great to work with. On the sales side. They have great customer service, but the prices are high, which is why I gave a 3 above. They also reccomemded more service than the owners manual reccomended for the vehicle. I also had body work done by the dealer. I was rear ended, and the rear bumper piece needed to be replaced. Their initial estimate was higher than the other partys insurance company would pay and they matched the price. More
